Each year on Memorial Day weekend, thousands of music fans from around the world gather in the birthplace of Techno to celebrate the heritage of Detroit and its musical influence over countless generations. Movement, a true institution in the world of dance music festivals, remains unwavering in its dedication to both the music and the culture that surrounds it. The festival takes place in Hart Plaza - Detroit's legendary riverfront destination. Festival Dates: - Saturday, May 23rd - Sunday, May 24th - Monday, May 25th Box Office/Will Call Hours: - Friday, May 22: 5pm - 9pm - Saturday, May 23: 12pm -11:30pm - Sunday, May 24: 1pm -11:30pm - Monday, May 25: 1pm -10:30pm Kids 12 and under are free and do not need a ticket. They are allowed in the general festival grounds until dusk with a parent or guardian. We strongly encourage hearing protection.
