At the young age of 15, Tal Rochman began his electronic music journey from his home town in Ashdod, Israel falling in love with the sounds of the underground electronic scene. Sidelined by Tourette's syndrome early in life, Tal used music as his outlet and drive to overcome adversity. Whales formally known as Sex Whales has gathered well over 900 million plays worldwide, an impressive feat for a 21 year old musician. Whales early success and hard work has allowed him to share the stage with acts such as: The Chainsmokers, Borgore, Jay Hardway, Ghastly, DJ Carnage, Feed Me, Jauz & more.

Today, Whales is unbound by genre, and with a rapid-fire workflow, shows no signs of slowing down. Most recently, Whales released his 2nd EP with Disciple, From the Depths, collaborated with Riot Ten on ‘Save You’ for Dim Mak, and remixed Another Me for Seven Lions, Excision and Wooli. Whales is looking to make a lasting impact in electronic dance music for years to come.
