Sound nightclub is THE bastion of deep house / underground electronic music in LA. It’s a small, intimate venue with a one-of-a-kind Pioneer sound system that will rock your socks.

The venue has a raw and industrial look with lots of California redwood furniture and walls and offers a fairly spacious dance floor located right in front of the DJs perch. As suggested in the name, the venue boasts a unique and cutting edge sound system and a killer A/V system, so the visual elements are as stimulating as the unbelievable audio. This is a great place to go in Hollywood that actually books talents who play good deep house and more minimal/artful house rather than your typical top 40 hits and popular house music bangers.

Space Yacht on Tuesdays mostly features bass heavy lineups and has garnered one of the fastest growing followings in the bass music scene. Framework Fridays are about underground deep house and techno music and the people who live for it. Sound Presents mainly features house music.

On occasion Sound will host some well known DJs (Kaskade, Afrojack, Markus Schulz, etc) but more often than not you’ll get the likes of Guy Gerber, Seth Troxler, EDX, Digweed, etc. This is one of our favorite clubs in LA!

Village Studios opens in Summer 2021 and is owned & operated by This Is Blueprint, occupying the same building as legendary venue Celebrities Nightclub.

The building that houses Celebrities Nightclub (upstairs) & Village Studios (downstairs) at 1022 & 1024 Davie Street has been an entertainment mainstay in Vancouver for over a century. Built in 1908, the building was designed by Thomas Hooper – one of B.C.’s most important early architects. It became home to one of the city’s first dancing halls – the Lester Dancing Academy (originally called Lester Court), which was run by husband and wife dance-teaching duo Frederick and Maud Lester. In the 1940s, it became the Embassy Ballroom – a “genteel dancing club.”

In the 1960s, the venue morphed into the rock club Dante’s Inferno, and then the Retinal Circus, a hippie venue famous for its psychedelic concerts and groovy lightshows. In the club’s basement, Tommy Chong ran an after-hours club called the Elegant Parlour. During this decade, the club played host to music legends like Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, the Velvet Underground and The Doors.

In 2016, the space was re-imagined as Celebrities Underground, a downstairs extension of the legendary nightclub, intended to host underground events. Initially launched to host events for Seasons Festival, the space has since added a Recording Studio and creative work space, relaunching as an independent, multidisciplinary event & creative space called Village Studios in 2021. The legacy lives on!

Q is a state-of-the-art, 12,500 sq. ft. multilevel lounge and nightclub located in Seattle’s vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood that sets a new standard for excellence by returning to the fundamentals of what makes a nightclub experience great: innovative interior design, groundbreaking sound and lighting, exceptional service, along with their unique twist on specialty drinks and cocktails, including the club’s own signature line of infused and flavored vodkas. The doors of Bang Bang were opened last fall providing the public with an exquisite Asian-fusion cuisine and remarkable venue. The tunneled stairway entrance, reminiscent of a Tokyo subway station, will bring you into Bang Bang’s unique dimension to create a memorable experience with our excellent service, outstanding food and drink, and our unparalleled hospitality. The three different spaces of our venue and custom menus can accommodate any private event from birthday parties, company parties, corporate, social and cocktail events, to business presentations, symposiums and dinner gatherings. For those who have yet to visit Bang Bang, it’s quite a trip. The second-floor space is accessed from a steep stairwell that designers revamped into a tile-lined tunnel with piped-in subway sounds. Upstairs, diners can choose between the quieter, well-lit sushi barroom or the dimly lit social room with bar, dance floor and an endless stream of weird Japanese videos and cartoons playing on the walls. In the women’s bathroom, one stall has been famously devoted entirely to dreamy photos of actor Ryan Gosling (whose name also graces a specialty sushi roll). There are also tributes to Bruce Lee, Hello Kitty and Godzilla.

The Concourse Project

Once the home of Serengeti and Shelter, Bar Standard is an Art Deco-themed, modern-day speakeasy. While the name and look may have changed, the club, housed in the former Jonas Bros. Furs building, still brings in some of the area’s best DJs — who spin house and dance music — as well as more high-profile national DJs. In addition, Bar Standard occasionally brings in live acts like the Cool Kids to perform on a decent-sized stage. The main area of the upscale club fills up quickly on the weekends, but there are two patios, both of which offer gorgeous views of Denver’s skyline, to escape the masses.

Over a decade before it became the illustrious Bijou Nightclub on Washington Street, the Boston Bijou Theater opened in 1882 as the first American playhouse lit entirely by electricity. The electrical system was installed and supervised personally by Thomas Edison. Flash forward 138 years and visitors to Washington Street are able to enjoy the Bijou Nightclub in Boston’s Theater District. Bijou is one of the best nightclubs in Boston. With it’s amazing chart-topping music, great lighting, and spectacular performances courtesy of their stellar visuals and production, the club is able to give its guests an unbeatable night of fun and revelry. Regularly attracting big names in the music scene and famous DJs like Martin Solveig and ZHU, Bijou continues to outperform rival clubs on a weekend nightly basis. For music lovers, this club will soon become a favorite.

Shady Park owner Scott Price has opened a new venue in downtown Tempe, and it's come in handy when dealing with the fallout from his ongoing legal battle with Mirabella at ASU.

This past weekend, the bar owner and restaurateur opened Darkstar, a 4,500-square-foot music venue located at 526 South Mill Avenue. The two-story spot features multiple bars, a PK Sound system, a large stage dotted with video screens, and a mezzanine level that allows views of the enormous dance floor. 

It's the latest bar and venue from Price, who also owns nearby downtown Tempe spots C.A.S.A. and Sunbar in addition to Shady Park.

Located in the heart of Miami’s Art district, MAD CLUB features an exquisite interior design combining glamour, art, and an unpredictable entertainment concept that will bring the most exciting hive to your night out scene.

The club will be open on Fridays and Saturdays only, at least for now. DJ Anastasia and DJ Walgee perform on Fridays, but themed nights will feature other local Miami DJs, like DJ Nicole from The Dirty Rabbit.

“We were ready to add something truly unique and eccentric to the Wynwood neighborhood,” said owner and creative chief officer Andres San Martin in a statement. “It’s our mission to provide an experience that not only speaks to the lifestyle of Miami, by showcasing extravagant design and a vibe like no other.”

Newspeak borrowed its name from George Orwell’s famed dystopian novel 1984, but the outlook when you step into this nightlife spot is anything but dismal. With a long, well lit bar, plenty of space around for standing, and a more than sufficient dance floor, it’s a comfortable hang out spot that always has room for everyone. The amazing shows at Newspeak are definitely a major draw, but Montrealers can always be found lingering at the bar, sharing stories, and enjoying themselves even when the stage is empty.

Relatively new to Montreal’s nightlife scene, Newspeak just opened in early 2015, but it has already created quite the buzz. Located in the heart of Quartier des Spectacles, the club looks like a speakeasy straight out of the prohibition era, but with a futuristic twist that creates a very interesting vibe. Its avant garde aesthetic is complimented by the various indie, electronic, and other alternative music artists who have played countless shows at the venue since it opened its doors.

Contrasting massive, stadium style setups that can be awesome, but completely lack an intimate feel, Newspeak was made to cater to the fan that really wants to get up close and personal with their favorite artists. The company behind the venue, SJU, is known for curating incredibly unique live events with unconventional international artists and the trend has definitely continued at Newspeak. Part of their mission to make non-mainstream music accessible to the public includes throwing all of their shows at a very reasonable price, usually ranging from $10 to $15.

Primary Night Club came to life in June of 2012 with a mission to provide a dance venue with state of the art sound for people to enjoy underground dance music in a safe and fun environment. Primary and its partners presents artists from various genres of music from Classic Chicago House, 90's House; More modern House; Disco, Techno, Tech-House, and DNB . The venue has a capacity of 250 and a state of the art Meyer Sound system (with two extra Void subwoofers for extra kick) and plenty of room to dance.

Since breaking onto the scene in 2012, Eli & Fur have been perfecting a sound built around infectious, electronic melodies and seductive vocal lines that have been hypnotizing dance floors from London to Los Angeles. Their production techniques are as on point as ever; drawing from anything House, with an obsession for old school Chicago and touches of Detroit Techno mixed with influences of RnB, Garage and Drum and Bass.

Eli & Fur are known for their captivating sets, which have seen the duo playing alongside the likes of Maceo Plex, Hot Since 82 and Dusky. Appearing on line ups for Chibuku, Sankeys, Bugged Out, Digital and Ants, Ushuaia, with their Festival highlights including Creamfields, Leeds Festival, Bestival and the ultimate of all festivals, Glastonbury.

The duo’s debut track, ‘You’re So High’ reached the top 3 on Hype Machine and has since received over 1 million plays on youtube. ‘Seeing is Believing’ saw the girls collaborate with Shadow Child and release on Defected, gaining almost half a million plays on Soundcloud. ‘Feel The Fire’ came on Anjunadeep and again has seen an impressive half a million plays across platforms.

Their touring sees them playing in Ibiza consistently throughout the summer and Festival plays include Lost Village (UK), Secret Garden Party (UK), IMS (Ibiza), Creamfields (UK), Electronica Festival (Turkey) and the Mad Decent Boat Party in Miami (US).

The girls plan to roll out the year embarking on a Thelma & Louise inspired road trip through the States. Taking on the challenge of driving across three states in two weeks to play ten cities whilst dropping into radio stations, TV networks and fan hangouts along the way. An unusual way to approach the US market but a life time dream inspired by quite possibly the coolest chics ever to grace the big screen.

At a time where the upcoming talents in the scene of Electronic Dance Music seem to get younger by the second, another promisingh his incredible sense beautiful melodies and a production quality that deserves a lot of recognition, Nate “Audien” Rathbun is starting to show off his skills in a trance and progressive scene that many had mistaken for being dead and gone.

At age 18 and hailing from the Northeastern shores of USA, Nate has silently been honing his skills ever since his first encounter with EDM at age 15. Having been brought up in a family with a mother that was very passionate about music in general, and a father that expressed his joy through guitar playing and singing, undoubtedly helped to shape Nate’s passion for music. Starting off with up-tempo techno gradually transitioning to trance and progressive. It did not take long fo prospect of tomorrow has appeared. Witr people to see that Nate had a flair for the melodies and the production skills required to create quality productions.

Recently Nate has seen his originals and remixes getting picked up by heavyweight UK trance labels Armada, Enhanced Recordings, Flashover, Black Hole, and Alter Ego among others. Recently Nate signed a track to Ferry Corsten’s dutch imprint Flashover Recordings which ended up on Ferry’s hot compilation theory entitled “Once Upon A Night” among many other compilations lisenced by Armada, Enhanced, and others.

Nate has never had a problem with airplay. His productions have frequently been featured on radio shows such as A State Of Trance with Armin Van Buuren, Trance Around The World with Above and Beyond, Corsten’s Countdown with Ferry Corsten, Tiesto’s Club Life, including many other shows hosted by credible and established Producers and DJs.

On the remix front Nate has proven himself capable at working at an amazing pace; finishing remixes for before mentioned, Enhanced Recordings, AVA (Armada), the also UK based Alter Ego, and with numerous other deals in the works it is safe to say that it will not take long before the world will be making the first encounter with young, yet incredibly gifted American.

"I have had the incredible opportunity to create and share music across all genres with you all, but for the last project this year I wanted to do something different," shares Emmit Fenn in his final Instagram post of 2018. The Berkeley, California, native has made a career out of crafting meticulous and cinematic soundscapes adorned by his enveloping vocals. His latest and final project of the year, Before We Begin, sees Fenn departing into newfound territory to bring to life a project that is absolutely breathtaking.  

Following Fenn's debut EP Prologue and preceding his long-awaited debut album, expected to be released sometime this year, Before We Begin marks a detour in the Berkeley native's empathic electronic career. And it is a detour we are delighted to explore. The ambient instrumental project, which is largely centered around Fenn's haunting piano arrangement and the viola work of Julien Altmann, is akin to venturing off into a previously unnoticed path in your daily commute. To make your way through Before We Begin is to give yourself over to Fenn's many unexpected twists and turns and penchant for conjuring up grand musical expanses.

Opening on "Wind" and closing with the "The End," Fenn illustrates his distinctive talent for weaving sobering, emotive reflection in his work, all without the need for spoken word or sung verse. It is a unique gift that underscores what is one of 2018's best collection of instrumental work. And even when Fenn does delve into more produced elements, he still manages to imbue his soundscapes with a sense of the unexpected.
