Agnostic Front is an American hardcore punk band from New York City. Founded in 1980, the band is considered an important influence on the New York hardcore scene, as well as a pioneer of the crossover thrash genre.

 There’s only one festival on earth where you can indulge in buffets, bowling, gambling, comedy, pool parties, and punk rock shows, and that’s the Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival! 

The festival is based in Las Vegas, NV, and was founded in 1999. The first iteration was held on Presidents Day weekend in 1999, when only 27 teams bowled (we now host up to 200 teams!) The first band who performed was Me First and the Gimme Gimmes at the Double Down Saloon. 

The event has grown throughout its 22-year career and has expanded to a 2-stage 3 day outdoor music festival with late-night club shows throughout the downtown area featuring over 100 bands. Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival has become an annual gathering of the punk rock “tribes,” to celebrate the music and ideas that have transformed our community over the years. 

We work hard every year to bring you the best in old-school punk rock while scouring the globe to present interesting new and up and coming punk artists. We want to welcome everyone to the best punk rock party of the year!

Punk Rock Bowling

We opened in October 2005.  This was my first foray into club ownership, after having booked other people’s rooms for the 8 years prior.  And even though it was in Colorado Springs, 100 miles from my home, I knew it was the right place.  I had a couple partners at the time, and it was good to have the help given the distance from home.  Time went on, and the partners moved onto other things leaving me as the sole owner.  This was ok, because by this point, I had a great staff there running the place.  The list of artists that have played the Black Sheep is as enormous as it is impressive.   This tiny 450 cap room has played host to the likes of everyone from Imagine Dragons to Daughtry, to Gwar, to Macklemore, and the list goes on and on.  The Sheep has always been a special place.  We just celebrated our 10th anniversary which unfortunately coincided with the untimely and tragic death of our longest tenured employee Chris Forsythe.  Chris was our sound man and head of production.  He was the heart of the Black Sheep and the place will never be the same without him.  But, as I said, the Sheep is a special place.  We have a great staff and our guests that come to the shows consider the Sheep their home.  This was clearly evident during the memorial for Chris.  I have never seen the Sheep so packed.  There were so many people in the venue they were spilling out into the parking lot.  This was not only a testament to the impact that Chris had on so many people, but the impact that the Black Sheep has had on the city of Colorado Springs.  The Black Sheep is an important thread in the fabric of Colorado Springs and we are proud to be able to do what we do there.  The Black Sheep has been voted “Best Live Music Venue” in Colorado Springs every year since we’ve been open.  I think we’re doing something right.  The Black Sheep is moving into a new chapter.  We have some big plans and we will be there for many years to come.  We look forward to creating more memories for all the fans that flock to the Sheep.

When Dana Sims opened his nightclub/live music venue in downtown Seattle in 2005, the name was a no-brainer: El Corazón. Meaning “The Heart” in Spanish, the space El Corazón inhabits has functioned as a live music venue, club or bar since 1910, and helped launch some of Seattle’s most iconic bands. (Previous names of the space include Graceland, The Off Ramp, Sub-Zero, The Eastlake East Cafe and Au Go Go). The venue was the heart of the grunge explosion in the ’90s that changed Seattle and music forever; Pearl Jam’s first five shows were in this room. Soundgarden, Alice In Chains and Mudhoney all cut their teeth here. Nirvana even debuted an early version of Aneurysm here in 1990, before it was changed for its official release the next year. El Corazon has served as the launching pad for new generations of Seattle bands that have gone on to big record deals and world tours (The Fall Of Troy, Macklemore, Aiden, Schoolyard Heroes, Himsa, 3 Inches Of Blood, This Providence, Monsters Scare You, etc). While many Seattle venues have shuttered, El Corazón is still pumping life into the scene. The venue continues to host national and international acts, provides local bands with a place to build their foundation, and remains one of the leading concert halls for the all-ages crowd.

Established in 1989, and originally housed for an amazing 27 years in its legendary North Avenue location inside the historic Dupree’s Excelsior Mill, The Masquerade has presented most everyone who is anyone in the rock, alternative, indie, electronic, metal, punk and hip hop genres of live music.   The venue’s stages have played host to a list of artists which reads like a dessert menu of alternative music royalty.  Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden and Fugazi once graced the same stages that are today occupied by Odesza, Death Grips, Future, In This Moment, Little Dragon, Taking Back Sunday and countless other amazingly popular and influential bands.

Its live music mostly consists of alternative music styles, such as indie rock, metal, punk rock, rockabilly, and electronic, ranging from local acts to ones internationally known. The Masquerade's three principal interior stages are named after the destinations of the afterlife: Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell — though they are now all on the same level with separate entrances. At the mill, Heaven was upstairs above Hell at the right (west) side of the building, with Purgatory as the bar area downstairs to the left, all accessed from a central entryway behind the box office with a stairway to Heaven.

The Roxy Theatre is LA's legendary family owned and operated music venue. All genres of music, craft beers, and the best grilled cheese you'll ever have at a show.

The ROXY THEATER was the best-known burlesque house in Cleveland. Its roots date from 1906, when Truman M. Swetland leased the property, located at 1882 E. 9th St., from Levi E. Meachum for 99 years. In 1907 the Family Theater opened at that location. A movie house by 1909, it was renamed the Orpheum Theater in 1913 and, following a 2-yr. shutdown, the Roxy in 1931. By 1933, under new owner Geo. Young, the Roxy became a nationally known burlesque house.

Throughout its heyday, the Roxy was a stop for entertainers such as Abbott & Costello, Phil Silvers, Red Buttons, Ann Corio, and later, Tempest Storm and Blaze Starr. The theater was remodeled in 1956 by new owners Frank Engel and Frank Bryan, and they brought their Eastern Burlesque circuit to Cleveland. From 1968 until its final closing and razing in 1977, the Roxy alternated between live entertainment and X-rated movies. The theater and property were sold in 1971 to Kope Realty for $150,000. In Sept. 1972 the lobby of the theater was bombed, but the Roxy reopened in Feb. 1973, showing X-rated films. Later that year, manager Tommy Flynn was arrested on obscenity charges for showing "Behind the Green Door." The Roxy closed permanently on 6 Nov. 1977. Although the theater was razed to make way for the Natl. City Ctr. (now PNC Bank), its name was perpetuated in the Roxy Bar & Grill, which has since closed.
