An Austin-based music festival announced its 2024 lineup, including some well-known names like Soccer Mommy, Dry Cleaning, Slowdive, Illuminati Hotties, Arc De Soleil, Ringo Deathstarr, and more. Levitation is a Halloween weekend, four-day music festival that was created with the mission of being a “hub for the psych rock scene” and has expanded to also include metal, electronic music, punk, and “all manner of independent and underground music." The fest will be held Oct. 31 – Nov. 3 at Far Out Lounge and several venues in the Red River Cultural District area: Stubb’s, Mohawk, Empire, Hotel Vegas, Elysium, Parish, Antone’s, Kingdom and 13th Floor. The lineup so far includes a healthy mixture of Austin-local bands and artists and bands from all over.
