Drai's Beachclub
Positioned atop The Cromwell on the 11th floor, Drai’s reigns over what is arguably the busiest intersection in Vegas. During the daytime it’s a beach pool party on steroids; in the evening it morphs into an upscale high-voltage nightclub. The dayclub embraces north-facing views including the Red Rock Mountains in the distance and the Bellagio fountains across the street. A central pool is flanked by palm trees and a white edifice with pink curtains covering the 15 second-floor cabanas outfitted with HD TVs — but with all the hard bodies dancing to the tunes of a live DJ it’s doubtful anyone will be watching much television. The nightclub, a two-story indoor space facing the dayclub pool, is all shiny black semi-circular booths and a horseshoe DJ station surrounded by columns festooned with postage stamp-sized mirrors. “I designed this club inch by inch,” Drai tells The Hollywood Reporter. “I wanted a different scale and scope.” He’s certainly achieved that. The two-story nightclub has seven control table operators behind the DJ for unsurpassed visuals on the 270-degree wraparound video wall and the first-ever ceiling video panels, so it’s a constant stream of optical illumination. VIP tables and booths ring the dance floor and match the second-floor private balcony areas, all of which are upholstered with black imitation crocodile coverings highlighted with pink and orange. The sound system is off the charts, and the music will rattle your very bones, making the nonstop flood of sound, vibration and light a near-primal sensation.

LIV Beach
Fontainebleau Las Vegas has unveiled an all-new day club concept set to open Spring 2024, just in time for pool season! This news comes as the hotel prepares for its December opening, and the valley gears up to check out the property's nightclub, LIV, and restaurants Komodo and Papi Steak. The 35,000-square-foot day club, also known as LIV Beach, will be designed by Fontainebleau Development in partnership with Groot Hospitality. Guests will be able to enjoy live music and refreshments poolside or in a cabana. “Having worked closely with David Grutman and Groot Hospitality for many years, I will say they are second-to-none when it comes to executing on the core tenets of nightlife and hospitality,” says Fontainebleau Development Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Soffer. “Our past collaborations have transformed LIV into a worldwide destination and have made Fontainebleau Miami Beach a haven for celebrities and adventurous revelers, and I know the same to be true for David’s other properties with Groot Hospitality. David’s vision aligns with ours, and we look forward to building on our record of success by taking LIV, Komodo and Papi Steak to the next level at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.”
RSVP at LIV BeachStadium Swim
Stadium Swim is more of an aqua sports bar than a nightclub, with six rooftop pools heated to as high as 39 degrees Celsius (103 degrees Fahrenheit) and a 143ft-wide TV screen showing sports. On days with big games, Circa will open kiosks where guests can deposit money for poolside mobile wagering. Of course, hosting pool parties during a pandemic isn’t an ideal scenario, but Circa is taking precautions, including temperature checks, social distancing and frequent cleaning. The sports-themed pool area and an adults-only policy throughout the resort could help it stand out in a market with a lot of competition, said David Schwartz, a gaming historian at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. “Appealing to aspects of Las Vegas that many people love in a different way can be a formula for success,” he said. Stevens originally considered calling the spot the Backyard, to convey what he wanted. “Kind of a like a great backyard, with a great pool scene, great food, sports on, and just a ton of fun,” he said.
