James Kennedy Details

James Kennedy raised in London, England January 24th 1992. James moved to the island of Ibiza which is located east of Spain where he discovered EDM (Electronic Dance Music). At the age of fourteen and now in Ibiza James was very quickly thrown into a crazy scene with "house music" at it's core!

"Walking into Pacha for the first time is when I decided that I wanted to be the person creating this happiness for others through music" There was something about the connection the DJ had with people that he realized that's what he wanted to do forever. After spending about two years on the island James moved out of Europe and to the United States with his family where he would be studying and pursuing his musical career as a producer. Since James has now been producing on Ableton and Protools he landed himself an internship at Interscope Records where he later got the chance to open for acts such as Steve Aoki, Eric Prydz, Datsik and many more. James was also focusing on remixing and producing original content all the while so he could play his songs out to crowds.

"Nothing makes me happier than watching a crowd release through music. Especially when I just made what their listening to at home or in the studio" Now collaborating with many local artists around the Los Angeles area James is working at SUR and still making more music than ever. Somewhere in the middle of all that James started modeling in LA. A couple years after moving to LA for good he got a modeling contract with FORD. After a year with Ford James moved to another agency called VISION which has landed him jobs in catalogs, look books and even modeling for ZARA.
