Anthony Naples is a musician and producer currently based in New York City. His music is often described as a raw and leftfield mixture of House and Electronic music. His debut release "Mad Disrespect" was released in May 2012, and was quickly followed up by a remix of Four Tet on Text Records. In the early months of 2013, three 12" were released in quick succession - most notably a slightly abstract four-track EP on Will Bankhead's The Trilogy Tapes imprint.

Kremwerk opened its doors in 2014 and has been the hub for the most eclectic and alternative drag programming along with progressive electronic music from around the globe. Kremwerk expanded and added an upstairs venue, Timbre Room, two years afterwards. Both spaces now offer a stage, DJ booth, and a bar each which are transformed depending on the party or event. Known for its excellent and eclectic live electronic sets, DJ nights, drag competitions, and queer artist showcases, Kremwerk is a futuristic bunker of a club, situated in a blue-tinted basement located in the Denny Triangle neighborhood in Seattle.

The best kinds of clubs are owned by the sort people who care about the things that make a club good: the décor, the drinks, the staff and most importantly, the music. Monarch in San Francisco manages to get high marks on all three. The 300-person capacity spot is split into an upstairs bar and lounge area, with a downstairs dance floor with its own bar. Monarch’s design will catch your eyes – an intriguing mix of steampunk (tuba/chandelier? Check), modernism, dark wood, industrial accents, and almost burlesque flourishes. The main floor is split by a wall containing an acrobat’s perch, complete with swing and visible on either side. Plenty of cushy seating, and a free photo booth add to the appeal. The basement dance floor area is its own little world. Voted Best Sound System by SF Weekly, Monarch’s Void Acoustics rig – one of a very small handful in the U.S. – is a marvel of clarity and bass, anchored by their unique-looking horn speakers. The lighting tends to be minimal, really letting the sound stand out. With its poured concrete bar and DJ table, high ceilings (for a basement) and a couple of bottle service alcoves, the downstairs has played host to some amazing talent, from Miguel Migs, Julius Papp, SF icon David Harness, Marques Wyatt, the Fort Knox Five, and Martin Buttrich. The music trends mostly towards house and its sub-genres, but you’ll find a sprinkling of others, and the occasional live band. Despite its lofty name, the Monarch sits in San Francisco’s relatively um, shall we call it…sketchy? Mission neighborhood. Don’t let this stop you. The Monarch is a gem of little spot, and so long as you stay aware, you’ll be fine.

Spin is one of the oldest nightclub venues in San Diego. The club was established in 1989 and is the reinvention of Club Montage, the first and only true after-hours dance club in San Diego. Voted Club of the year various times in its history, it has been a trend setter and part of the EDM movement and the uprise of the gay circuit by exposing the world most elite artists and performers to an industry of music enthusiasts every weekend. At the club you will be able to experience top of the line internationally known artists and DJs such as Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Mstrkrft and more. Guests will be able to enjoy three floors with the best sound in San Diego hands down as well as free parking 3 designated areas to smoke, an open air rooftop, a bar at every room and floor, kinetic lighting and lasers, a CO2 gas cooling system until the early hours of 4-5am.

Part of a bigger take over that included the legendary Club Space, former after hours hot spot Libertine has reopened its doors as Floyd, a haven for jazzy live performances, eclectic DJ sets, disco, and soulful house.

Floyd opened in the former Libertine space in January. Floyd will coexist independently of its big brother Club Space, offering a completely different atmosphere, ambiance and talent lineup. 

According to Sinopoli, the partners took a step back to rethink how to best use the venue. What they came back with is a more mature space that offers well-made cocktails and live music such as jazz, lounge, and even chamber orchestra. It is less intimidating than the party-till-sunrise marathon that happens upstairs. The place is located in Miami's 24-hour district, so it might stay open until 7 a.m., with more soulful house playing in the early-morning hours. It will also be open more often than Space.

"Saturday, the [Space] Terrace is a ritual," Sinopoli says. "Floyd is going to be an everyday bar for industry or people leaving the Arsht Center or a Miami Heat game or [who've] just left work and want to see a jazz band. We are going after a demographic that doesn't go to 11th Street at all right now... that goes to hotel or jazz bars, a little bit more refined taste that still likes to have fun but doesn't like the pretense of feeling like they are in a stuffy establishment."

Floyd is also an attempt to get the general public to see Space as more than just an after-hours spot, Sinopoli says. Perhaps those turned off by party mayhem will try Floyd or the soon-to-open live-music venue.

Bossa Nova is New York’s coziest house and techno hangout. The modest 140-capacity bar sits beneath the rumbling subway overpass in Bushwick, Brooklyn’s hippest neighborhood. Depending on the night, you’re likely to hear industrial techno, live hardware sets or jacking house, usually served up by local artists. For those in search of a Monday night dance party, this is one of the only spots you’re likely to find in this part of the borough.

Formerly known as the Civic Theatre, an original cabaret and live rock venue, The Civic Underground was refurbished in 2008 with an innovative interior including white plush booths, an illuminated panelled ceiling which continuously changes colour, and a sunken dance floor in front of the stage. The club boasts one of Australia's cleanest club sound systems, with an Allen & Heath V6 rotary DJ mixer and a Ramsa SX-1 front of house mixer amongst the venue's collection high grade equipment. Friday nights you’ll generally hear house and techno, with Saturdays tending towards disco.

Corsica Studios (previously known as the Corsica Arts Club) is a medium-sized, two-roomed music space located in close proximity to Elephant & Castle tube station in south-east London. A rotating cast list of promoters and labels stage events at the venue each Friday and Saturday. The music pushed at the club is rooted in house, techno, electro and disco, but often incorporates dubstep, drum & bass and bass music. Open since 2005, the club is known for its intimate, urban atmosphere and solid soundsystems.

Human is born from the need to recover the medium-sized club, designed to live a more human and comfortable experience around electronic music. A space to accommodate the entire cultural flow linked to this particular universe, through content, not only musical, but also other artistic disciplines.
 
Human wants to return to the roots of shared experience in the natural habitat of dance music: the club. The pandemic has reminded us how important – and necessary – it is to be able to enjoy live music, to the detriment of the omnipresent “streaming”. Human is living an experience together, returning to the human and its social nature. Going back to the roots of the club as a meeting place for an audience of different generations but with shared concerns. A space where you can enjoy music in the best conditions, encouraging attention and creating an environment where new consumption habits meet old ones.
 
Culture will be an essential part of Human, in a multidisciplinary way, beyond the purely musical proposal. The digital art agency Landscapes will be in charge of commissioning installations from artists from all over the world as well as a digital art gallery distributed by the club. We will also have a regular schedule of visual artists.

Perched high atop the roof of the Standard Hotel in the Meat Packing district, Le Bain offers party goers fantastic views, and a hip downtown crowd.   In the summer, Le Bain features an indoor hot tub (complete with vending machines in the bathroom selling $80 bathing suits) and one of the most spacious rooftops in NYC nightlife (with a crepe stand, in case you get hungry.)  Le Bain is also quite large by NYC standards- consequently it is usually not too difficult to gain entry during the daytime (as long as you show up early).   Le Bain is an exclusive venue. Only roups of mostly females stand a good chance of getting in. =

Nowadays is an outdoor performance venue and hangout spot from the team behind well-loved Brooklyn dance parties Mister Sunday and Mister Saturday Night, offering cold beer, fresh food, and communal, backyard vibes. Nowadays provides a relaxed, park-like setting for all-ages performance and play. The central feature of the garden is a padded, multi-use dance floor that accommodates hundreds of dancers on Sunday afternoons. A formal grid of honey locust trees surrounds the floor, offering filtered shade and a leafy canopy to relax beneath. Nowadays opened an listening bar inside called Indoors, which is situated on an industrial stretch of Cooper Avenue lined with auto repair shops. The 5,000-square-foot converted warehouse features an audiophile-approved custom sound system, fog machines and a polished marble bar that runs the length of the modern, minimalist space. Hypnotic blue strobes pulse on the hazy dance floor, where a strict no-cellphone policy is enforced. Indoors hosts niche listening events like Planetarium, where people are encouraged to bring pillows, blankets, and even sleeping bags to get cozy on the floor and listen to music in silence for five hours. Indoors also offers vinyl records for quiet listening, strategy board games, and even a class about Stranger Things taught by start-up Think Olio.

Sounds that permeate the air, neon lights, great drinks, a lively crowd…the exhilarating events of a night out are always fun in a city that never sleeps. When out clubbing, you can’t really seem to hear anything over the loud music, but it’s compromise you’re willing to make. Fortunately, at Vent Tokyo you don’t have to sacrifice your eardrums for the sake of a fun night. Club Vent Tokyo opened this year, and it features optimal acoustics within its walls in order to provide guests with a one-of-a-kind music experience. You get the best of both worlds: A place to dance to a crafted selection of house and techno music all night, and a lounge where you can sip on your favorite drinks and relax. Vent Tokyo is located inside a building on a main intersection in Omotesando. Once you find the Festae Omotesando building, you just go straight to the very end of the first floor, and Vent Tokyo will be down the concrete stairs. The space has an underground charm to it. The doors open at 11pm and stay open until 6am! When you first walk in, you may think you’ve entered a concrete art gallery. The layout is nothing short of an art piece itself, with a very minimalist and chic interior. There are two bars, one behind the entrance booth which plays Japanese techno or house music, and the main bar. The main bar and lounge have a space for people to stand and mingle. It also offers small seating options (reserved seats included) and nature-inspired art pieces. The lounge turns into the dance room as two concrete slits in the wall divide the spaces. Not only is it visually interesting, but the club’s structure and building materials themselves were carefully chosen to aid in the natural refraction of sound throughout the space.
