DJ Ammo

Born and raised in Los Angeles California, he studied in schools throughout Europe and Los Angeles, gaining musical and artistic
influences wherever he went. He has worked on many film and tv projects and is well known throughout DJ communities around the world. The hundreds of club remixes that he's produced have earned spins from world renowned club DJ's such as DJ AM, Steve Aoki, Samantha and Mark Ronson, DJ VICE, DJ Edski, and more.

He currently resides in Los Angeles, California, where he continues production work from his studio there. Ammo has played over the last few years at Hollywood hot spots such as Les Deux, Area, Kress, Villa, Mood, Bardot, Avalon, LAX, and more during their respective pinnacles. He also regulary DJ's throughout the United States, Europe and the Miami Winter Music Conference. Well-versed in a variety of genres including his personal Remixes,Electro, Nu Disco, varieties of House, Hip Hop, Rock, New Wave and Classics. Ammo is known for his ability to feel out a crowd and set the right music tone in order to keep them moving all night long..

In 2007, he dropped the critically acclaimed Mind Over Matter mixtape, which featured a variety of his club remixes, and received a rave review in the June 2007 issue of URB Magazine. Since then he has made 5 other mixes of different genres.

In 2008, he produced the single " Untouched (Listen Deep Remix)" for the hit Austrailian group called The Veronicas.

Ammo currently is working on multiple Electronic tracks and remixes for various artists and has partnered up with the Crybabies as a producer.

Philly is about to get its own “premier nightclub” that will entertain 1,000 guests a night in a space “designed to be a hybrid between upscale nightclub venues of New York City and Los Angeles fused with international influences.” NOTO (“Not Of The Ordinary”) will open this fall at 1209 Vine Street. Founders James De Berardine, a Lafayette College graduate, and his mother Micheline, are partnering with big names in the small pond that is the Philly club scene: Ryan Dorsey (founder of Recess Lounge and former general manager of after-hours bar and club, Zee Bar), Zach Seidman (formerly of the Fillmore Philadelphia, Atlantic City’s HQ Beach Club, HQ Nightclub, and Dusk), and Jeff Bowell (formerly of STARR Restaurants and part of the successful Las Vegas and Atlantic City openings of mur.mur, LAX Nightclub, Savile Row, HQ Nightclub and HQ Beach Club) — to make the 15,000 square foot club a success.

The elusive nightclub has played host to plenty of mega name Djs, secret parties and after hours sets to make even the most jaded dance scenester take stock of who they know, and how connected they are. That’s why it should come as no surprise that most of the events at Kingdom now carry ticket requirements. While there are still the free dance shows, and surprise parties that don’t carry a cover, they are still subject to the laws of the club, and you can find yourself waiting in a crowd of people littered down the strangely urbane alleyway that Kingdom’s front door calls home.

As for the club itself, Kingdom definitely knows its market, and provides all the bells and whistles that the pretty, and elite should require for successful night of partying. Opulent dance floors, and booths all supplemented by a gracious staff that provides impeccable service and ambiance. Moneybagg Yo was born on September 3, 1991 in South Memphis, Tennessee. The oldest of three siblings, Moneybagg grew tired of seeing his mom struggle to feed him and his sisters, so he dropped out of High School and began running the streets with hopes to support and provide for his family.

During idle time Moneybagg Yo and his bestfriend Elo began freestyle fun; ELO would tell Moneybagg Yo he truly thought Baggs had what it takes to become a rap star.In 2015 ELO's vision came true when Moneybagg Yo dropped Federal, a mixtape that set Memphis and Tennessee surrounding areas ablaze. But It wasn't until his bestfriend ELO was fatally gunned down in 2015 that Moneybagg Yo began to take rap music seriously. During these painful times Moneybagg Yo penned and released a CD that wore heavy on the hearts of South and North Memphis. The cd was to titled "ELO" (Everybody Lives On) - a tribute to his best friend the late ELO.

Wanting self recognition, in February 2017 Moneybagg Yo released Heartless,  a CD that rose the charts and peaked at #18 on Apple Music. Moneybagg Yo then released Federal 3X late in 2017, garnering more critical acclaim.

Moneybagg Yo brings a different style to the game through his creative vision, fashion, solid stage performances, and lyrical story telling.

In early 2016 MoneyBagg Yo was passing out mix CDs and eating Vienna sausages for dinner. Now heavily involved in community events, MoneyBagg Yo frequently visits grade schools and junior high schools to share his story with children, hoping to inspire kids worldwide to never give up on their dreams. Moneybagg Yo continues to work diligently as he takes bigger strides forward in the rap game.
