Sushi Fly Chicken (“SFC” for short) is a restaurant, bar and lounge inspired by Tokyo’s underground nightlife scene, Asia’s diverse cuisines and Miami’s unstoppable energy.
With dishes ranging from specialty sushi rolls to delicious robatas to fried chicken plates, SFC is both a takeout spot and a modern-day speakeasy. Hint: enter our swinging kitchen door to discover the secret behind the counter. SFC also features a full liquor bar, including bespoke beverages created specifically for the room. These include yuzu margaritas, lychee martinis and Japanese whiskey-based cocktails.
SFC’s decor channels the exclusive, unmarked watering holes tucked around Tokyo’s Roppongi and Ginza neighborhoods. In our clandestine dining room, the neon-and-steel-clad bar is backlit by a 75-foot long mural by the Miami-based artist Santlov. The piece contains collaged animé and manga figures, which morph across the expanse in a rainbow ombré wave. Whether stopping by for drinks or dinner, the SFC experience is unlike anything else in South Beach.
