Obed Padilla is a Mexican-American songwriter, rapper, producer, and guitarist from Oceanside, California. Drawing from early influences like J. Cole, Kid Cudi, the Beach Boys, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, he weaves together coastal melodies and introspective lyricism with hymns passed down from his preacher father. The result is a Latin alternative sound of his own that has earned him a BMI Latin Spotlight feature and over 63 million post views on TikTok. With standout tracks from his 2026 EP like “RODEO CLOWN” and “MEET ME IN THE MIDDLE,” Padilla has ushered in a fresh sound that blurs the lines between faith, nostalgia, and modern West Coast storytelling.
