Formed in San Francisco in the 1990s, Third Eye Blind defined an era of alternative rock with timeless, chart-topping hits like "Semi-Charmed Life," "Jumper," and "How's It Going to Be." Led by frontman Stephan Jenkins—a longtime ocean conservationist—the multi-platinum band continues to captivate audiences worldwide while using their platform to back critical environmental causes. The North Atlantic right whale is one of the world's most endangered marine mammals, with fewer than 360 individuals remaining in the wild. Dedicated to their survival, Whale & Dolphin Conservation (WDC) works endlessly to combat the primary threats these gentle giants face, including vessel strikes, marine entanglements, and changing ocean habitats. Created as an annual benefit concert, Whale Jam brings music lovers together to raise crucial funds and direct support for WDC's conservation efforts. Now in its 4th year, the event blends incredible live music with community action, channeling every voice toward protecting Nantucket's local ocean icons for generations to come.
