Through his independent label, Loci Records, he has cultivated a global community of listeners while continuing to push the boundaries between electronic, acoustic, and cinematic music. In 2026 Emancipator returns with “Chrysalis” his first studio album in 6 years coming September 26th on his Loci Records imprint. Leading the charge is the standout first single "The Painted Lady”, a breathtaking new collaboration with acclaimed singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Kishi Bashi which is out now.
