Rickshaw Stop s a 4000 square-foot (including 1000 sq ft mezzanine) former TV studio, with full bar and food service. High ceilings, giant red curtains, and vintage rickshaws afford a quirky coziness to the space, which includes foosball and Skeeball tables, a balcony, and for certain events, a coat check and upstairs bar. Rickshaw Stop has been around since Jan 2004, and has hosted such acts as M.I.A., Vampire Weekend, Toro y Moi, Tune-Yards, Crocodiles, Wallpaper, Memoryhouse, Grimes, Veronica Falls, Leslie & the Lys, Gardens & Villa, Wallpaper, Geographer, Freelance Whales, School of Seven Bells, Neon Indian, The Dirtbombs, Tokyo Police Club, Wavves, A Place to Bury Strangers, Junip, Starfucker, Washed Out, Yacht, Zee Avi, Glass Candy, Silversun Pickups, The Shout Out Louds, Diplo, Jonathan Richman, Matthew Dear, Jolie Holland, Dengue Fever, and The Lucksmiths.
