Led by guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Steve Diggle, the Manchester legends built their reputation on a unique blend of melodic power-pop, punk energy, and thoughtful songwriting. From pioneering the independent music movement with their self-released Spiral Scratch EP in 1977 to influencing generations of artists from alternative rock to pop-punk, Buzzcocks have maintained a legacy built on innovation, experimentation, and emotionally intelligent songwriting.
