On The Big One, he ditches his solo bedroom process for spontaneous sessions at Honeymoon Suite with a rotating cast of friends. Blending DIY pop with ’70s songwriter warmth, May embraces improvisation, community, and cautious optimism, finding joy, connection, and possibility even as the world feels uncertain.
