Known for his masterful genre-blending and monstrously heavy soundscapes, VLCN consistently delivers unforgettable experiences. His rendition of “Starfall” on Illenium’s latest self-titled remix album has become a fan favorite in his catalog, and is a nod in the direction the artist hopes to take, marrying his classic heavy soundscapes with emotionally driven and powerful lyricism. His most recent collaboration, “Afterglow” with ARMNHMR and Nevve is a testament to his adaptability as an artist, ushering in a new era of melodic and heavy hybrid tracks along with his classic headbanger anthems. VLCN released his highly anticipated sophomore EP, “Galaxy Defense,” with Subsidia Records in June 2023 and features collaborations with LAYZ, AlienPark, and Dubscribe. The seven-track EP includes standout tracks like “MF” and “The Samurai,” which have received extensive support from Excision and Illenium, becoming fan favorites and live show staples.
