- About Philly Music Fest:
- Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube
Philly Music Fest was founded in 2017 by Greg and Jenn Seltzer. All shows are curated and produced by Greg. As home-grown, devoted Philadelphians, our mission is to host a unique, hyper-local music festival that benefits our community, without large corporate and governmental oversight and involvement.
We operate Philly Music Fest a bit differently than your typical music festival. By structuring Philly Music Fest as a non-profit and organizing the festival ourselves, we eliminate the need to pay producers and promoters. The result is that we pay our musicians well, host our shows only at independently-owned venues and then donate profits to local music programs educating the next great generation of Philly musicians.
We certainly love that the consequence of Philly Music Fest benefits the next generation of Philly musicians, but don’t miss the shows. Each year, we highlight and celebrate nationally recognized Philly musicians, as well as emerging local bands, in the genres of Rock, Punk, Hip Hop, Bluegrass, Jazz, Pop, Metal and R&B. We hope you’ll join the cause and celebrate the music of Philadelphia.
We believe that to sustain our vibrant music scene, we must support the next generation of Philadelphia musicians. The bands that will grace our stages in ten years are currently kids in middle and high school. Unfortunately, access to music education is not as easy as it used to be since public schools have cut music education programs.
Our community is fortunate to have several amazing music education programs, but the programs need our collective economic support. Philly Music Fest supports the following organizations: Rock To The Future | Settlement Music School | Musicopia | Play On, Philly | Beyond The Bars | Philadelphia Youth Orchestra | Key of She

About Sweet Pill
Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify
Sweet Pill’s sophomore album, Still There’s a Glow, is a hard-fought document of self-reflection and growth. It is raw and real, stacked with a lyrical honesty that’s matched by singer Zayna Youssef’s soaring, expressive vocals. Written and recorded in the wake of a whirlwind three years following their 2022 debut LP, Where the Heart Is—and after scrapping essentially an entire album’s worth of demos—Still There’s a Glow is a dynamic, cathartic journey of making conscious change within oneself.
“Half the album was written before and the other half after, so the songs are kind of hard on myself but some are also hopeful, with a light at the end of the tunnel. You put out a fire, there’s still an ember that’s still glowing - that’s the record. It’s about being at a low and climbing out of it.” says Youssef
This is where Still There’s a Glow really begins. The entire undertaking marked a shift in Sweet Pill’s creative dynamic: their first release written entirely as a group. From the first note, it sounds like a band that has put itself back together, with lyrics that feel deeply determined in the face of daily struggles with pressure and self-doubt.
Still There’s a Glow captures a time marked by change and progression, about the hurdle of being kind to yourself, making good choices for yourself, and being honest and vulnerable.
About Wax Jaw
Website | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify | Apple Music
Wax Jaw built their sound on a drive to play high-energy shows that would leave no audience member standing still. Born out of Philadelphia’s expansive music scene, the band fuses dynamic and fast-paced punk tunes with emotionally charged lyrics, inspiring fans to search their hearts while sweating it out on the dance floor. The five-piece outfit has captured the raw emotion and electricity of their on-stage performances in their debut album, It Takes Guts!, which is set to be released via Born Loser Records on October 10, 2025.
It Takes Guts! holds joy and suffering in the same breath. The album explores themes of addiction, sexual liberation, and self-worth, offering an authentic reflection of lead singer Shane Morgan’s lived experience as a transmasculine person. Despite its heavier themes, It Takes Guts! playfully embraces the ironies of life and the undeniable catharsis that comes from choosing to be sexy or sleazy when the mood strikes. The instrumentation of the record mirrors its lyrical duality, stitching together jagged punk riffs and new-wave danceability. It’s music that invites both movement and introspection, with each track built to hit home and blow out your speakers.
Wax Jaw is Shane Morgan (vocals), Sean Vannata (guitar), George Fenton (guitar), Greg Blanc (bass), and Ben Manning (drums).
About Remember Sports
Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify | Apple Music
Remember Sports is a Philadelphia-based band, originally conceived in the tiny Midwestern college town of Gambier, Ohio, comprised of members Carmen Perry (vocals, guitar), Jack Washburn (guitar), Catherine Dwyer (bass), and Julian Fader (drums). Their peppy indie power-pop encapsulates the melancholy and excitement of growing up while Carmen’s writing is diaristic and intimate; a strange amalgam of both melancholy and joy.
About Midfield
Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube | Spotify | Apple Music
Pop-punk outfit Midfield was started in the spring of 2016 when members Matt Kelly (vocals) and Kurt Nubbemeyer (guitar) released the first Midfield EP, "Wishing, Wanting". What started out as an online-only studio project quickly developed into something better with the addition of three new members playing guitar, bass, and drums. Skip ahead two years, some shifts in the lineup, and another EP, and you've got Midfield as they stand today. Members Matt Kelly (Vocals), Kurt Nubbemeyer (Guitar), P.J. Baker (Guitar), Will Smith (Bass), and Tyler Patchell (Drums) deliver infectious hooks and amped-up melodies that you're sure to find yourself humming along to after a single listen. Midfield take the nostalgic sensation of the pop punk you grew up on- or your older brother always listened to- and breathe new life into it. You'll look back on these as the golden days eventually, and Midfield will be your soundtrack. Midfield's music can be found on Bandcamp, Spotify and iTunes. The bands other social media sites include Instagram and Youtube.
Sweet Pill has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket sold goes to Calling All Crows and their work mobilizing music fans and artists to fuel feminist movements.
In addition to this partnership, Calling All Crows will also be providing the band with Mental Wellness Allyship Training focused on recognizing and responding to challenges on the road, helping equip them with tools and shared protocols to better support one another throughout the tour.
