This EP gets back to his roots, Pokey and his guitar. Four self-penned songs, including an early career song that’s become his most requested live staple, “Josephine”, plus a future country-gospel classic ‘Pickup Truck’, and two covers; ‘Ain’t No Grave’, an old Gospel song by Brother Claude Ely, where he is joined in harmony by Addie Hamilton, and ‘Keep a Knockin’, done by the likes of Little Richard and Louis Jordan, amongst others.
