Razor-N-Tape & Spotlite present: A Joyful Noise Kicking off the festivities of Movement weekend, Brooklyn label Razor-N-Tape debut their signature A Joyful Noise series in Detroit for a night live music & DJ guided club sounds. . Harkening back to an era of NYC clubbing where live musicians & DJs joined sonic forces, A Joyful Noise showcases new music, live instrumentation and the sonically deeper side of Razor-N-Tape. Fronted by The Joyful Noise band, a collection of esteemed NYC musicians led by JKriv, the band held a 3 year residency at Public Records and has performed at Winter Jazz Fest in New York. For this Detroit edition, A Joyful Noise debuts a smaller ensemble featuring Domenica Fossati (flute) Jason Lindner (Synthesizers) JKriv (Bass) & Peter Matson (Guitar). Also joining the night are a dynamic cast of Razor-N-Tape artists: celebrated Detroit artists Recloose (performing a hybrid live 808 set) and John Beltran alongside Megatronic, Aaron Dae, & Disgonuts
