Amsterdam-based club concept Night Arcade celebrates its 10-year anniversary this year. What started as a club night dedicated to the synthesizer sounds of the early 1980s has grown into a staple for fans of italo disco, synth-pop, post disco and Hi-NRG gems. The anniversary edition will take place on june 19 at Melkweg Amsterdam. For the occasion, organiser and resident dj Devereaux 85 has invited two artists closely connected to the modern italo and synth scene. David Vunk & Bordello Soundsystem Rotterdam DJ and producer David Vunk tops the bill. As the founder of the influential label Moustache Records, Vunk has built an international reputation through his eclectic blend of electro, italo and obscure club tracks. His sets are widely known for their raw energy and deep crate-digging selections. Joining him is Bordello Soundsystem, the driving force behind Amsterdam’s Bordello a Parigi label. Over the past decade, the imprint has become a key player in the global italo-disco revival, known for its distinctive releases and international events. Together with Devereaux 85, the night will explore the melodic hooks, drum machines and neon aesthetics of early ’80s club music.
