He is currently on tour as a multi instrumentalist (guitar, pedal steel, lap steel, keyboards and backing vocals) with Gregory Alan Isakov and has shared the stage with Alison Krauss & Union Station, Counting Crows, Josh Ritter, Guster, Joshua Radin, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Nightsweats, Dispatch and many more. Black delivers knotty and evocative instrumental guitar music that draws inspiration from Leo Kottke, Tommy Emmanuel, Robert Fripp and John Carpenter. Danny released his first solo outing, “Adventure Soundtrack” on Nettwerk Music Group in 2017 and toured extensively.
