Description
The voice of TISM, Damian Cowell, and comedy legend Tony Martin (Martin Molloy, Get This, The Late Show, and award-winning podcast Sizzletown) bring their electrobanging new album to the stage for one big show.
Combine Martin’s flair for storytelling with Cowell’s acerbic social observation, plus a collection of thumping electro dance grooves, and unmistakably TISM-esque hooks and melody, and you’ve got a genre-bending show that defies categorisation.
By turns funny, angry, wistful and just plain silly, Arseless Chaps deliver catchy songs about society’s darkest corners, death, loss and obsolete technology.
They call themselves ‘Daft Punk without the punk’, but the opposite is true - think more like a punked-up Sparks or Pet Shop Boys, or LCD Soundsystem with an Antipodean sense of humour, and you might be closer to the mark.
TISM fans will love the stories. Comedy fans will dig Tony's dancing.
"Really funny, really clever, and it just kept getting funnier and cleverer as it went!” Stephen Hall (Shaun Micallef's Mad As Hell)
"Fans left the venue buzzing, eagerly anticipating what the Arseless Chaps will do next” Melbourning Magazine
"a dream combination... an entertaining show" 4ZZZFM
