Carlos Willengton (ES) Carlos Willengton was born and trained as a disc jockey in Montevideo, Uruguay. At the beginning of the 80s he began to do his first sessions at parties and discos when he only played with vinyl records and his record collection grew little by little as did the level of his work, until he became a professional Disc-Jockey. At the end of the 80s he received an offer to work the summer season on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in Spain, which would allow him to alternate the summers of both hemispheres for years until settling in Spain, very close to Barcelona. Carlos Willengton was active as a DJ for more than 40 years and during the pandemic he began to share his mixes with vinyl records on social networks, receiving recognition from great figures in the global DJing scene, as well as the support of people from all over the world and corners of the planet, reaching more than 200,000 followers on Instagram. Once the restrictions ended and the nightlife venues reopened, Carlos Willengton began to be invited to perform in clubs and festivals around the world doing 100% vinyl sessions and demonstrating absolute control in front of Technic's, which allows him to move with incredible ease while mixing. On his current tour he has performed in Dubai, Melbourne, Miami, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Mexico and in more than 60 European cities. He has been in prestigious clubs such as Ministry Of Sound in London, Audio Club in Geneva, About Blank and Heideglügen in Berlin, Crobar in Buenos Aires, Blitz in Munich, LAB in Madrid, Djoon in Paris and Pacha Ibiza among others... and now he has more than 50 dates scheduled in clubs and festivals. His willingness to share his art on digital platforms with no other intention than to spread joy among the public has allowed him to leave a lasting mark on the global music scene, which has served as an example and motivation for many other artists.
