Description
Every synth lover in Naarm is welcome to join us to talk about synths, music and everything hardware, drink, eat and tickle our eardrums with new sounds, this event is free for everyone.
The next Hardware Road Synth Meet will be on Tuesday the 25th of February 6:30-9pm in Howlers Theatre room. (Back room) Entry is FREE!
Every synth lover in Naarm is welcome to join us to talk about synths, music and everything hardware, drink, eat and tickle our eardrums with new sounds.
Prepare your belly for some treats and your ears for beats, drones and filter sweeps!
Our first synth meet of 2025 we present Dubreq Stylophone, brought to you by Sound and Music.
We will have a range of the latest and greatest from Stylophone for everyone to play and synth nerd out to (like the very popular Stylophone Theremin) as well as some classic pieces.
The highlight of the night being a demo by Chris Steller of the DS-2 compact portable modular Analog Drone Synth.
As per our usual meet, you can still bring a synth to share.
Extra points if it's a classic Stylophone!"
Feel free to play with all the synths in the room.
There is a strictly "no drink over synths" policy.
Unless it's your synth, in which case it's at your own risk!
If you do plan on bringing a piece of hardware (of any description) please get in touch so we make sure there is ample table space. Please DM Age Rachele. Also bring a pair of headphones please.
Those who are not bringing synths, also feel free to bring your own pair of headphones to use, if that makes you more comfortable.
Any questions feel free to DM Age Rachele.
See you there.
Hardware Synth meet is a safe space. Zero tolerance on discrimination, harassment or any other emotional or physical harm.
Hardware Road acknowledging the traditional owners of the land on which we will be meeting, and to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
Thanks again to Kevin for organising and Howler for providing the space. You are both doing the Naarm synth community a great service.
