Description
On WEDNESDAY, MARCH 26, VIOLENT FEMMES are going underground in THE CAVERNS in GRUNDY COUNTY, TENNESSEE. The Femmes will be playing a very special TWO album show. They'll perform their Hallowed Ground album AND their eponymous debut album.
ABOUT VIOLENT FEMMES - Formed in 1981 in Milwaukee, Violent Femmes brought a hard-hitting, acoustic punk sound influenced by Gene Vincent and The Velvet Underground. Their break came when Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders invited them to open a show on the spot, leading to a New York Times review and a record deal. Their self-titled debut album eventually went platinum and made history on the Billboard charts. Celebrated as a raw and honest influence on diverse artists, the band still tours widely, attracting fans across generations.
