Based in Philadelphia, the indie quintet is composed of lead vocalist Emily Goldenberg, drummer Ben Manning, guitarists Evan Brink and Simon Sheintoch, and bassist Patrick Cosgrave. Since releasing their debut EP, Album and, most recently, singles Jump Ship, Countdown and Higher & Higher, the band has often been compared to upbeat modern artists such as Lake Street Dive, the Lumineers and Mt. Joy. Their live shows have created a strong and lively community that feeds each high-energy performance. Led by singer/songwriter Jake Margolis, the band originally started crafting somgs in Baltimore, Maryland, before returning to their roots in Philadelphia in 2022. Their debut EP, Things to Carry, released in 2023, set the stage for their latest project, the highly anticipated debut album Knock. Upon returning to Philly, they teamed up with musician and engineer Charley Coin and recorded Knock at SoundChild Studio, showcasing their unique sound and love for the avant garde.
