Description
Cinematic Folk artist Coda Chroma releases their 4th album
Coda Chroma's fourth album LUMINOUS AS IT IS takes its name froma line in Mary Oliver's poem "Summer Morning" and is a snapshot intime of Kate's perpetual songwriting practice and her deep connectionto nature. The album is steeped in themes of consumerism, environmentalism, friendship, and death, expressed through Coda Chroma's signature poetic, abstract lens. A companion piece to Coda Chroma's 2023 LP release Dreamself, LUMINOUS AS IT IS features nylon string guitars, vintage synths, and compelling vocal melodies. Although the songs move through a range of musical genres including jazz, pop, and psychedelia this album is undeniably the most folky Coda record so far.
