About Big Something
Website | Facebook | Instagram | X (Twitter) | YouTube | Spotify
Hailing from the North Carolina countryside, or “The Middle of Nowhere,” as it’s proudly dubbed on their debut album, the 6 headed musical monster known as 'Big Something' has steadily become one of the most unique and exciting rock bands to emerge from the Southeast.
Huge rhythms paired with soaring guitars, E.W.I (electronic wind instrument), synths, horns and soulful vocals rise to the top of their signature sound taking listeners on a journey through a myriad of musical styles. With a diverse and growing catalog of timeless songs that tell stories, and a high energy live show fusing improvisational alternative rock with funk, reggae, jazz, electronica, heavy metal and more – there's not another band quite like Big Something.
After over a decade of touring together with 7 full-length studio albums produced by Grammy-nominee John Custer, Big Something have progressively evolved their catalog with each subsequent release. From their debut album Stories from the Middle of Nowhere in 2010, through fan favorites a la the self-titled Big Something [2013], Truth Serum [2014], Tumbleweed [2017], The Otherside [2018], and Escape [2020], they have constantly pushed the boundaries of their sound.
About Three Fourteen
Website | Facebook | Instagram | SpotifyWhat does Three Fourteen mean and why does it keep following me? A five-piece high energy blues driven band from the Philadelphia area with an entirely original sound. The band plays a selection of their eclectic original music alongside rare and beloved covers; mashing up reggae, soul, and psychedelia influences into heavy jams.
Three Fourteen joined together to incorporate their experiences into their music. This group of likeminded individuals consist of members Andy Hionides (guitar), Joe Acri (bass), Josh Lassoff (drums), Jamie Lundmark (violin) and Gerald Smith (guitar). Together they have become a distinct sound across the Eastcoast music scene with concrete songwriting material, chord structures and vocal attitude. The band aims to create a sense of community with their crowd by creating fun and energetic setlists that are known to incorporate surprise medleys and teases while including some slower more intricate improvisations.
Three Fourteen has a top-flight catalog of venues and festivals they have performed. This includes being aired on local & global radio stations such as WXPN 88.5 and are one of the areas “must see shows” (Pierre’s Weekend Calendar). The band has played alongside acts like: Consider The Source, Magic Beans, and much more!
