Artist Info:
2Lanes: The Detroit-based electronic polymath works his library of synthesizers and samplers into compelling, bench-made dance productions. Under the moniker, 2Lanes, he crafts a sound that's deeply explorative, marrying alluring dub reagents with hard-hitting techno percussion and acidic, groovy bass.
Tammy Lakkis: A rising voice in Detroit electronic music, Tammy Lakkis is a multidisciplinarian known for her playful and energetic hardware live sets and an adventurous and eclectic style of DJing. Her EP Notice on Portage Garage Sounds put her on the map as a unique one-stop-shop seamstress of sound celebrating the coexistence of the strange, the dark, and the fun. She is a resident DJ at Detroit staples Motor City Wine and Temple Bar. Lakkis is a natural storyteller and her music fluctuates between extremes, genre, and temperature. She fearlessly oscillates from downtempo oddities through flirty vocal house to ferocious bassline-driven bangers and back. A true lover of curveballs.
Salar Ansari: DJ, producer, and influential figure, Salar Ansari's musical journey transcends borders and genres. Born and raised in Tehran, he emerged from the city's vibrant underground scene, immersing himself in diverse musical influences that later Shaped his signature blend of techno, house, and Persian rhythms. Co-founding Analog Room, Salar played a pivotal role in nurturing regional electronic talent and fostering cross cultural exchange. This dedication to cultivating the scene earned him respect and recognition, paving the way for his next chapter in Detroit.
Embracing Detroit as his second home, Ansari's deep understanding of sound engineering made him a sought-after collaborator, working with some of Motor City's finest artists.
His own productions garnered him the 2021 Detroit-Music Award for Best Electronic Album, solidifying his place in the Detroit musical family, but his impact extends far beyond the stage. He co-founded the Feeder-Loft Studio with Luis Resto, a creative hub nurturing the next generation of electronic music talent. He has also shared his knowledge and experience through workshops at esteemed institutions like the Interlochen Arts Academy and the University of Michigan. From global performances to credits on seminal record labels like Blue Note Records,
Ansari’s career is a testament to his unwavering dedication to pushing creative boundaries. He remains a global citizen of electronic music, consistently shaping the soundscape of tomorrow, all while staying true to his underground roots.
