MORABITO
The word “legendary” rolls off the tongue easily and often these days, but in the world of music and nightlife that story is usually told in the past tense. Unless the legend happens to be Morabito. Few names have dominated the dance scene over the course of three decades and remain as relevant, current and celebrated as Morabito.
Morabito has graced every major club and sound system in NYC, including Twilo, Roxy, Tunnel, Sound Factory, Limelight, Palladium, Roseland Ballroom, Cielo, Pacha, Webster Hall, XL and Stage Forty8. Her musical reach extends to gigs in Tokyo, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Milan, Amsterdam and across New York’s cultural landscape.
Whitney Day
The roots of Whitney Day’s signature sound are grounded in soul music, with her sets building on layers of disco, vocal and deep house, funk and driving, percussive rhythms. Armed with an instinct for reading a crowd and an ability to artfully mix genre-blending sets has taken her across the US and internationally to perform in cities such as Berlin, Tokyo, Ibiza, Miami, Las Vegas, San Diego, Boston, Montreal, Stockholm, Sydney, Vienna, Munich & beyond.
Day’s infectious passion for mixing music and creating on-the-fly sets keeps the vibe fresh & energetic every time. From underground Brooklyn warehouses to European music festivals, tropical circuit parties, sports arenas and celebrity studded benefits, she’s shared the stage with DJs and artists such as Honey Dijon, Barbara Tucker, Moby, Crystal Waters, Cece Penniston, LCD Soundsystem and Bebe Rexha,
