A towering figure in the German Techno who has created numerous masterpieces, Roman Flugel will be performing at VENT, on November 22nd.

It would certainly be no exaggeration to say the German electronic music scene would not be what it is today without Roman Flugel. Roman dropped into the scene in the 90s, and he continues to be a huge influence in German Techno.

Gerd Janson has remarked that Roman Flugel is "like a chameleon". He's explored many genres from House to Techno, where his DJing roots are. Where Roman plays, to which crowd he plays, when he plays - it is all highly variable. DJ, live performer, producer, remixer, and label head - all these titles befit Roman Flugel. He is indeed a chameleon, a man of many colors.

When Roman Flugel plays a set, each record spun is like taking deep breathe. Deep and progressive mixes, the dance floor is brought to life with music and anticipation of the next song. His sets are straight forward, no gimmicks. This is brought about thanks to a deep knowledge of and respect for music. His mixes are seamless and natural, concocting a musical story that is progressive yet delicate.

Roman Flugel is not just an adventurer who invites you to join his musical journey. He's a musical cartographer, sharing his wide and diverse world of music with you, expanding your musical landscape. For Roman, reading the emotions of those on the dance floor to blend a perfectly curated mix for each soul there is his everything. Do not miss this chance!

This opened Pandora’s box, for very young Roman Flügel, too. Innocently given to him by his elder brother as a present (“He probably had no idea what he was about to unleash and just wanted to give me some new... View More
