Head Nodders is comprised of Sweidan and Dani Drops who met while sharing a residency after separate lifetimes in Montreal, Dubai and Lebanon. As DJs first and foremost, Sweidan’s master groover technique combines with Dani’s keen instinct for creative risk into a minimalist blend of signature smooth and nasty tech house, deep house and techno that ebbs and flows with dance-floor momentum. To their broad and diverse following, they are held as rare treats and trusted favourites. Over the years, they have run the complete circuit of Montreal’s hottest clubs (Stereo, Salon Daome, le Belmont, Circus Afterhours, Velvet Speakeasy, U.N.) to its coldest rave (Igloofest), and some sketchy lofts in between. They have shared the decks with Josh Wink, Popof, Guillaume Coutu Dumonts, and a great portion of Montreal’s time honored locals.
