XiJaro & Pitch are the trance music producer/DJ duo of Xander van Dommelen and Anthony Reyers. Formed in 2014, they are best known as the musical minds behind dozens of spine-tingling, uplifting releases on some of the most prestigious labels in trance and also as the creators of the weekly show “Open Minds Live”, which is currently taking the Twitch trance community by storm. Most notably their work has already seen them be hand-picked by Armin van Buuren for his famous “A State Of Trance” mix compilation as well as landing them the opportunity to play at the coveted Luminosity Beach Festival.

Dreamstate promises this multi-city event will be their biggest yet. It will feature two nights of sensory stimulation provided by the first-rate production and otherworldly entertainment the brand is known for. But, the festival could never be complete without the stars who’ll be serving up the beats. Since 2015, Dreamstate has become the top-tier trance festival in the United States. What started off as a one-stage event inside the Damus Building at the NOS Event Center has since grown into a sprawling four-stage spectacle of sound, placing the creme de la creme of the industry behind each booth. But Dreamstate SoCal has been bitten by the expansion bug, and they feel that now is the perfect time to make a move that will upgrade the physical atmosphere of the brand for the foreseeable future.

This year, trance family members from around the globe will join together at the iconic Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach. This is the same venue that just recently hosted Day Trip Festival, and from the sounds of it, Insomniac has some extra special plans to turn what was recently a groovy gathering for house heads into an uplifting ethereal playground designed specifically for the trance enthusiast.

This year’s edition of Dreamstate SoCal will run until 1am each night, with on-site after-parties that promise to rage until the sun comes up. In addition, there’ll be an exclusive hotel close to the action so you can mix and mingle with your fellow trance addicts before and after the show, in between naps. Dash Berlin is a true deejay at heart with a profound passion for the comprehensive culture of dance music. He is often described as an invigorating and charismatic newcomer, with the unique ability to leave a long-lasting impression upon his audience well after the night is over. Dash is one of those rare individuals that seems to understand the unwritten laws of the nightclub by nature. He keeps his ever expanding, nocturnal following alert, ecstatic and craving for more, with remarkable precision and skill.

In March 2010, after mixing various popular Armada compilations, Dash Berlin released his very first official and long-awaited mix album aptly named ‘United Destination’. This double-CD is a reflection of his recent gigs with a top selection of tracks straight from his record bag into two seamless deejay mixes.

Few voices are as instantly recognizable as that of Australian born songstress, Emma Hewitt.

Hewitt’s haunting melodies, yearning lyrics and distinctive style have earned her a legion of passionate fans around the world as she continues to write and release music with some of the world’s most respected names in electronic dance music.

The journey began back in the Australian town of Geelong, Victoria where Emma would perform acoustically around the region through her teenage years. “Music was a form of escape for me and not something I ever consciously set out to follow as a career path. I was always inspired to ask questions; of myself as well as others and I guess over time those questions just sort of grew wings and turned into songs”.

Those songs led to an early record deal with Sony Music for her project ‘Missing Hours’. The relationship was brief, but provided Emma with an invaluable insight into the music industry setting the stage for things to come. “I was never very comfortable that first time around – I felt as though I was trying to figure out what I wanted to say and who I wanted to be with a lot of different people watching on through a microscope. The over analyzing didn’t make sense to me as I just wanted to write songs that might mean something to people – and all of a sudden these things I’d never really considered like marketing strategies and budgets became more important to the people around me. I was out walking with my brother one day and I had this epiphany and just said, ‘screw it’ – I want to burn this all down and dream it back to life the way I had imagined it. I wanted to give the songs the respect I felt they deserved”.

And dream it back to life she did. Emma’s very first EDM collaboration with UK heavyweight Chris Lake yielded the worldwide smash ‘Carry Me Away’ knocking Britney Spears out of the #1 position on the U.S Billboard Chart (Hot Dance Airplay) going on to spend over 50 weeks in the Top 100.

From there, Emma teamed up with German icons Cosmic Gate for the classic anthem ‘Not Enough Time’ and Dutch superstar DJ Dash Berlin for the mega hit, ‘Waiting’. ‘Waiting’ firmly cemented Emma Hewitt’s reputation as a serious international talent earning Hewitt many accolades including a #1 on the Global Trance Charts, #2 on the illustrious A State Of Trance Annual Countdown and an International Dance Music Award (Best Euro/HiNRG Track) at the 2010 Winter Music Conference in Miami.

A string of #1 Beatport releases followed throughout a particularly fertile period in 2010 and with a wealth on new material, a new record label in Armada Music and a desire to push the creative envelope, Hewitt undertook the extraordinary measure of producing her debut artist release as a double album project. “My only real goal with the album was to be faithful to the songs regardless of style or genre – I guess with the double sided concept, I just wanted to give as much music as I could back to whoever wanted or needed to hear it. I also wanted this album to show some of the different sides to my personality”.

Produced by Lee Groves (Goldfrapp, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode), ‘Burn The Sky Down’ was an instant favorite with fans around the world debuting in the Top 10 on the ITunes dance charts in seven different countries fusing electronic beats with ambient soundscapes, and live instrumentation with Hewitt’s inimitable vocal style at the fore.  On the flip side the remix album features some of the world’s most respected remix artists including Armin van Buuren, Grammy nominated Morgan Page and Cosmic Gate amongst many others.

An extensive touring schedule throughout 2012 has included sold out solo performances right across the globe in over 25 countries as well as appearances on the major EDM festival circuit around the world where Hewitt is often known to leave the stage, microphone in hand, to join the revelers in the arena below.

Matt Bukovski – Poland’s 21 year old classically trained musician, DJ and producer – is sending shock waves across planet trance with his melodic masterpieces and blistering DJ sets.

Already having played for Luminosity, FSOE and all over Europe, Matt has just made his Asian debut on the huge Pyrobeat Festival in Kuala Lumpur and his USA debut is already in the pipeline. A leading light in the new generation who has a huge global following watching his rise.

Having released on Armada, Monster Tunes, Enhanced, Blue Soho and having tracks on Armin’s Universal Religion 6 (“Retrospection”) and A State of Trance 2013 (“Eterna”) compilations, Matt Bukovski is on everyone’s ‘to do’ lists, as he brings the epic moments and euphoric drive every time he enters the booth.

Matt began his fascinating journey at the age of just 7, when he started attending primary music school. He immediately fell in love with the sound of the piano and has been continuing his classical training through to today, and whether it be playing grand piano and pipe organ, or composing classical music, he’s deep in his element and surrounded by pure passion.

His most recognizable style is energetic uplifting trance, spiced with rolling acid basslines. However, he doesn’t just stick to one subgenre of trance, producing prog-lifting, progressive or electro-trance tracks as well. He always tried to make it sound like “Bukovski”; putting his signature sounds, characteristic melodies and deep emotions into each of his originals and remixes.

Starting his career in 2005, Durand was recommended by Tiësto as his 'Tip For The Top in 2007' in DJ Magazine. In that same year he was placed in the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs poll.

His first creations were tech trance singles "Make Me Scream" and "Slipping Away" on the Terminal 4 label, but his real success started with remixes of Tiësto singles "Lethal Industry", "Flight 643" and "Break My Fall", and reworks of The Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up" and Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" which brought him into the playlist of DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules and Eddie Halliwell.

In 2008, Durand remixed Fragma's "Toca's Miracle" and Armin van Buuren's "In And Out Of Love". His solo productions included "Weep" featuring Skin from Skunk Anansie on vocals, which was signed to Perfecto Records.

In 2009 Durand remixed Art of Trance's "Madagascar" followed by his debut artist album Always The Sun on Magik Muzik / Black Hole Recordings. The album spawned three singles "Into Something", title track "Always The Sun" and "No Way Home".
