Leprous is a rock band from Notodden, Norway, formed in 2001. The group was founded by singer and keyboardist Einar Solberg and guitarist Tor Oddmund Suhrke.

After releasing several demos with relatively unstable lineups, the band released their first studio album, Tall Poppy Syndrome, in 2009. They subsequently gained prominence as the live backing band of Ihsahn (who is Solberg's brother-in-law), who, in turn, contributed on several Leprous records as guest singer or producer. Their acclaimed 2011 album Bilateral led to further attention. After two albums which followed the same musical direction, Coal (2013) and The Congregation (2015), Leprous took a more rock-oriented and less metal approach with Malina (2017), their first record not to feature harsh vocals. Leprous further experimented on 2019's Pitfalls, which saw the band mixing art rock, pop and progressive influences into their established sound. Leprous released their seventh studio album Aphelion on 27 August 2021. Their albums have received mostly positive reviews.

If you visited the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana a couple years ago, you would’ve been met by cover bands, one-hit wonders or closed doors. It had its moments, of course, but those moments were rare thanks to a lengthy closure and lackluster booking. Enter Jon Reiser, former partner and booker for Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa. Reiser purchased the venue and made several significant changes: booked popular acts, upgraded the sound system, added a smaller venue-in-a-venue called the Constellation Room. The Observatory now hosts popular acts such as Method Man , GWAR, Tiesto, Waka Flocka Flame and many, many more. That also includes residencies from local acts. Selling out shows is now a habit for this place. Most of all, it provides a valuable service to the whole county by bringing in acts we could usually only see by driving to Los Angeles. Oh, and it even—gasp!—makes Angelenos cross the Orange Curtain for a show.

The Bronson Centre is a community facility in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, which provides office and meeting facilities for non-profit organizations. It is located at 211 Bronson Avenue, on the western edge of the city's downtown core.

Bronson Centre is a registered not-for-profit charitable corporation that provides affordable rental space and hub services to other non-profits, charities, cultural associations, and the community at large.

Bronson Centre was established in 1996 as a non-profit registered charity. Our 45,000 square feet of space was originally the Immaculata High School, which was founded by the Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception.

 

Our oldest building dates back to 1928 and offers spacious, high ceilinged rooms. Additional buildings followed in a timely fashion. The Dr. D.A. Kearns Memorial Building went up in 1948 and was later followed by the North Wing (originally a convent) in 1952. In 1962, the building as we know it today was completed with a main foyer and auditorium.

After over 50 years as a first run movie house, the El Rey was converted into a live music venue in 1994. A registered Historic-Cultural Monument, the El Rey has sweeping staircases, an art deco lobby, VIP balcony lounge and a grand ballroom equipped with a full stage.

Exit/In is a live music venue in Nashville, Tennessee. Exit/In is located on Elliston Place near Centennial Park and Vanderbilt University. Shepherd's Bush Empire is a music venue in Shepherd's Bush, west London, run by the Academy Music Group. It was originally built in 1903 as a music hall and in 1953 became the BBC Television Theatre. Since 1994, it has operated as a music venue. It is a Grade II listed building.

Another historic venue, this one in the center of the University Ave. business district in North Park, the Observatory was built in the 1920s and still features much of the classic art deco decor that has adorned the walls since it first opened. It was purchased in 2014, and its name was changed from the North Park Theatre, but the character of the classic theater remains. For starters, it's beautiful, and while it was a venue for opera and dramatic theater in its past life, its acoustics make it a surprisingly strong place to catch a touring rock or pop group. Even better, it's a spacious venue, supporting 1,100 concertgoers at a time with plenty of breathing room for everyone. The calendar at Observatory North Park is always full, whether it's showcasing alt-rock a-listers like Tame Impala or filmmaker and camp icon John Waters.

Terminal West is a 7,000 square feet music venue with exceptional lighting and sound systems. Terminal West has two bars and connects to the King Plow art center’s restaurant, Stationside, which is open during all live shows, and for lunch on Tuesday – Friday. They have an extensive beer list and other creative drinks. Interestingly, the Terminal West bars serve only canned beer from notable craft breweries such as 21st Amendment, Oskar Blues, Avery, New Belgium, Sierra Nevada, and many more. There is also a balcony that provides patrons with an eagle-eye view of the action on stage during performances, and an outdoor roof deck overlooking the historic Atlanta train tracks. Though it is one of Atlanta’s younger music venues, having opened during the Spring of 2012, Terminal West quickly rose to prominence. Though it started with heavily electronic and dubstep shows, Terminal West has evolved into a well rounded space with more indie and rock acts in its lineup. To date, artists such as Ok Go, Walk the Moon, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., Caribou and People Get Ready have performed.

The Theatre of Living Arts, fondly known as the TLA, was a movie house in its early years, showing art house films and weekly midnight screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Since then, it has become Philadelphia’s premiere small concert venue, welcoming up and coming artists from all genres to rock the 1,000 concert goers it is able to hold within its walls. 20+ years in business and you can still catch a show almost any night of the week. The Wellmont Theater is a theater and concert venue located in Montclair, New Jersey, United States. The theater is located on the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Seymour Street in downtown Montclair, near the border with neighboring Glen Ridge.

In March of 1921, as the decade started to roar, theater manager H.H. Wellenbrick purchased a 115 x 150 plot of land next to the Montclair Theatre to build a new showplace and business office at the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Seymour Street. Combining his own name Wellenbrink and the town’s name Montclair, he named his new theater The Wellmont. Designed by architects Reilly & Hall and built at a cost of $400,000, the modern “fireproof” Wellmont Theatre opened its doors in 1922 as a venue for vaudeville and stage plays and attracted top acts of the era like Charlie Chaplin. Chiefly, though, the theater was used as a movie house. Patrons included Thomas Edison, who watched the picture shows here. Screenings were accompanied by a pianist who played the theater’s Wurlitzer pipe organ.

With the “talkies” on the rise and silent movies on the decline, The Wellmont added sound sync equipment for film when the Stanley Fabian theater chain took over operations in 1929. By the early 1980’s the small Roberts Theater chain converted the single house room to a triplex with an eventual focus on independent films. The entrance on Bloomfield Avenue was moved to Seymour Street and the original Italian marbled lobby became a diner.
In 2006 the Roberts Theaters chain sold to new owners and the Wellmont closed for a $3 million renovation to create flexible floor seating to utilize the original 1922 single stage. With new stage lighting and a cutting-edge sound system The Wellmont, with an audience capacity of nearly 2500, became the area’s largest live concert venue when it reopened in 2008 with headliner Hanson of “MMM Bop” fame.
Another ownership change in 2013 brought many improvements. Extensive repairs and refurbishment repointed the interior’s crumbling plaster ceiling, expanded food and beverage services, and installed a state of the art audio visual experience for concert attendees. With a redesigned logo (Wellmont Theatre became the The Wellmont Theater) booking went to premier concert promoters Live Nation, positioning the historic venue as the resource for New Jersey music lovers in the arts district of Montclair.

The Wellmont reopened in September 2015 and continues to host such renowned performing artists as Tom Jones, Miss Lauryn Hill, Joan Baez, Bush, DNCE, Third Eye Blind, Jim Gaffigan, and Meat Loaf.
