Brooklyn Mirage is the outdoor oasis in the Avant Gardner complex, situated in the heart of East Williamsburg. It's open during the summer season each year, and decked out with thousands of plants and even palm trees, and boasting a KV2 Audio system, it's designed to be a sensory experience for both the ears and eyes.

It is the outdoor component of Avant Gardner, an 80,000-square-foot development at 140 Stewart Avenue in an industrial corridor of the East Williamsburg neighborhood, a few grubby blocks from Queens. By fall, a warehouse (now filled with sacks of cement mix and construction equipment) will be transformed into an event space. Another area will become a 5,000-square-foot club. All told, it will hold 6,000 visitors.

Avant Gardner is a large-scale event venue located in East Williamsburg. It consists of The Brooklyn Mirage (summer outdoors) and The Great Hall and The Kings Hall (indoors year-round). Avant Gardner fills a substantial NYC market void for audio- and visually-equipped venues capable of hosting immersive and experiential events for up to 6,200 attendees. It is ideal for music and concerts, but is meticulously designed—with sprawling rooms and modular elements—to host nearly any kind of event.

The Great Hall is the quintessential Brooklyn industrial warehouse, that’s anything but. A massive and soaring space, its aesthetic is a mix between industrial chic and organic tech. Featuring exposed beams and brick juxtaposed by waving wood slats over sound absorbing surfaces, the space achieves the acoustics of the most renowned concert halls. With real wood flooring, modular staging and seating, it is the ideal setting for concerts, dances, exhibits, theater, trade or fashion shows, festivals and beyond. KV2 Audio’s VHD5.0 sound system, a vast array of projectors, and fully programmable lighting fixtures immerse attendees into the ultimate experience.

The best kinds of clubs are owned by the sort people who care about the things that make a club good: the décor, the drinks, the staff and most importantly, the music. Monarch in San Francisco manages to get high marks on all three. The 300-person capacity spot is split into an upstairs bar and lounge area, with a downstairs dance floor with its own bar. Monarch’s design will catch your eyes – an intriguing mix of steampunk (tuba/chandelier? Check), modernism, dark wood, industrial accents, and almost burlesque flourishes. The main floor is split by a wall containing an acrobat’s perch, complete with swing and visible on either side. Plenty of cushy seating, and a free photo booth add to the appeal. The basement dance floor area is its own little world. Voted Best Sound System by SF Weekly, Monarch’s Void Acoustics rig – one of a very small handful in the U.S. – is a marvel of clarity and bass, anchored by their unique-looking horn speakers. The lighting tends to be minimal, really letting the sound stand out. With its poured concrete bar and DJ table, high ceilings (for a basement) and a couple of bottle service alcoves, the downstairs has played host to some amazing talent, from Miguel Migs, Julius Papp, SF icon David Harness, Marques Wyatt, the Fort Knox Five, and Martin Buttrich. The music trends mostly towards house and its sub-genres, but you’ll find a sprinkling of others, and the occasional live band. Despite its lofty name, the Monarch sits in San Francisco’s relatively um, shall we call it…sketchy? Mission neighborhood. Don’t let this stop you. The Monarch is a gem of little spot, and so long as you stay aware, you’ll be fine.

Flash opened its doors in June of 2013 as a collaboration between long-time lovers of music, former DJ’s, and music industry vets. Their goal was to present an intimate space where artists can express themselves clearly and fans can hear their favorite artists in an ideal setting.

The Club Level features an acoustically treated studio-quality room showcasing a custom Funktion One sound system and a next-generation lighting rig designed to heighten the experience. It provides a balance between dance floor, fully stocked bar and wall-to-wall bench seating.

The ground floor, appropriately named Flash Bar, features a separate dance floor and DJ area, coat check, ATM, additional restrooms, and a fully stocked bar specializing in a wide selection of liquor and hand-crafted cocktails.

Flash is open every Friday and Saturday night with headlining national and international DJ talents covering a wide spectrum of house music, from deep to techno. Other styles of music are also presented numerous nights per week.

Renowned for merging cutting edge sounds with vintage accents, Sebo K is both mobilee's longest serving artist and its beating heart of house music.

Sebo K is a unique and influential figue within Berlin's densely populated music community; both crowd-pleasing and credible, he is a bona fide tastemaker who distinguishes himself by exploring the connective threads between classics from Chicago and Detroit, and modern European tech house, minial, and rolling percussive grooves.

Sebo K launched his DJ career in early-90s Berlin, as an integral member of Alec's Empire' Bass Terror, the city's first UK-style drum & bass and breakbeat club nights. By the middle of the decade Sebo K had fallen under the spell of stateside artists like DJ Sneak, Glenn Underground, and Mood II Swing, and his growing love for Chicago house and Detroit techno began to reveal itself within his club appearances throughout the city. Sebo K has been a resident DJ for internationally renowned Berlin club Watergate since 2002, and through his 'Sebo K and Friends' nights, his relentless international touring schedule, and with mobilee's Back Up Vol. 1 and Watergate's 04 mixes to his credit, a growing legion of fans both close to home and further afield has been captivated by his unique mix of the old and the new.

Despite a relatively limited discogrpahy of original productions, quality over quantity has always been the credo for Sebo K. His debut for mobilee, Too Hot, recalled an era of underground warehouse anthems and launched the then-fledgling imprint into the stratosphere. Its follow-up, the instant classic collaboration with Anja Schneider, Rancho Relaxo, established Sebo K as the up-and-comer worthy of close attention, further cemented by his breakout hits "Diva" on mobilee, and "Saxtrack" for Cecile. Alongside his timeless original productions, Sebo K has remixed some of the most respected labels and artists on the planet, including Poker Flat, Mule Electronic, Radioslave, and Efdemin.

Effortlessly transitioning from deep soulfulness, to tough stripped-down sounds, and back again, Sebo K has reinforced the enduring importance of house music throughout the perpetual cycles of trends, and this ability to command a club crowd has been equaled by his exceptional productions.
