Yaeji Details New Album With a Hammer and Spring 2023 Tour

Korean-American singer and producer Yaeji has detailed her upcoming debut album, With a Hammer, out April 7th via XL Recordings. The news arrives with a run of 2023 North American tour dates and lead single “For Granted.”

Yaeji recorded With a Hammer in New York, London, and Seoul, mixing her dance music roots with Korean indie rock, electronica, and pop from the ‘90s and early 2000s. Collaborators on the album include British musician Loraine James and Baltimore up-and-comer Nourished by Time alongside producers K Wata and Enayet from Yaeji’s extended SLINK NYC crew.

The Ogden Theatre was built in 1919 by the same designer of the Bluebird Theater. The Ogden Theatre originally hosted live performances such as weekly organ recitals, dances, lectures and vaudeville acts - most notably, the legendary Harry Houdini. By 1937 it had been converted to a movie theater that featured everything from the classics to the avant garde. In the 1980's it also featured the cult movie classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The Ogden Theatre was re-opened in 1993 featuring a wide variety of live performances. The theatre found its niche and has become Denver's premier concert venue featuring approximately 150 concerts per year. The Ogden Theatre is an official Denver landmark and a national historic landmark.

After breaking out with her 2017 debut EPs that featured singles “Raingurl” and “Drink I’m Sippin On,” the multifaceted artist featured on Charli XCX’s 2019 album Charli, has gone onto produce remixes for Dua Lipa and Robyn, collaborate with the beloved Seoul-based polymath OHHYUK, sell out two headlining worldwide tours, and launch her bespoke lifestyle webstore JI-MART.

Born in Flushing, Queens in 1993, she has roots in Seoul, Tokyo, Atlanta, and New York City, all serving as the backdrop for her singular, hybrid-sound that synthesizes influences of Korean indie rock and electronica, late ‘90s and early 2000s hip hop and R&B, and leftfield bass and techno.

The Granada Theater is a theatre located in Lower Greenville, in Dallas, TX. The theatre was built in 1946 as a movie house. In 1977, it was converted to a concert hall, only to revert to a movie theater soon after. In 2004 it was again opened as a concert hall.

The 9:30 Club, originally named Nightclub 9:30, also known simply as the 9:30, is a nightclub and concert venue in Washington, D.C., which was originally housed in the ground floor rear room of the Atlantic Building at 930 F Street NW, in the city's downtown area, where it opened on May 31, 1980, with a legal standing capacity of only 199 patrons. In 1996, due to its increasing prominence, the club was moved to a roomier space, its current location at 815 V Street NW, where it anchors the eastern end of the U Street Corridor.

As a special feature, the club, with capacity for up to 1,200 people, has a wheeled stage mounted on rails, which can be moved back and forth as needed. This way, the place can feel as packed with 500 people in attendance as it would during a sold-out, full capacity show.

The 9:30 Club's name was derived from its original street address, as well as the original opening time of 9:30 p.m. Early advertising on D.C.'s WHFS radio featured the slogan "9:30 – a Place and Time!"

Big Night Live is a top tier luxury music hall unlike any other venue in Boston. The massive 40,000 square feet multi-level performance and event space offers 30 VIP tables with bottle service for those truly looking for the next level of nightclub partying.
