The Aces Announce Massive Tour With Support From LALA LALA

Indie-pop quartet The Aces has announced a massive summer/fall World Tour with support from LALA LALA. The I’ve Loved You For So Long World Tour will kick off on August 14 in Budapest, Hungary at Sziget Festival and span across more than 30 dates running through October.

In addition to their forthcoming tour, which will see The Aces at several festivals including Pukkelpop Festival and Frequency Festival, the band will also be releasing their third studio full-length album I’ve Loved You For So Long on June 2 via Red Bull Records. In a social post, the group shared,

“I’ve Loved You For So Long is an album about self-reflection and self-exploration. When we were kids, growing up in a very religious suburban town, we weren’t given many options of how to express ourselves through clothing. Every Sunday we would go to church and were expected to wear skirts, tights, and clothing that is societally considered feminine. Through the styling of these album photos, we wanted to reminisce on how we would compensate to make these things more comfortable for us. Often times we would through oversized hoodies over our dresses, pair them with skate shoes and our older brothers hand-me-downs. We realize now what a beautiful blend of androgyny and rebellion that was, and how it still bleeds into everything we do and who we are today. It means everything to be able to wear the clothes you want to wear, and be who you want to be.”
