Brian Fallon North American Tour Dates 2022 Calendar

Brian Fallon Unveils 2022 North American Headlining Tour.

Brian Fallon has unveiled plans for an epic North American headline tour in 2022. The 37-date trek – featuring full backing from his longtime live band, The Howling Weather – gets underway January 11, 2022 at Portland, ME’s State Theatre and then travels through an eagerly awaited homecoming show set for March 4, 2022 at the famed Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, NJ. Special guests include The Dirty Nil (January 11-February 16), Worriers (January 11-March 4), and Hurry (February 18-March 4).

Separately, Fallon’s new holiday album, Night Divine, is due out Friday, November 5 via Lesser Known Records/Thirty Tigers; pre-orders are available now. Produced and recorded by Fallon, the album comprises powerful new renditions of classic hymns and spirituals including the recently premiered “Virgin Mary Had One Son” and “Amazing Grace,” both available now at all DSPs and streaming services.

allon will end the year with a sold-out, five-night holiday residency at Garwood, NJ’s Crossroads, set for December 4, 16, 17, 18, and 23. In addition, next spring will see Fallon and The Howling Weather crossing the Atlantic for a wide-ranging tour of the UK and Europe, including already sold-out shows in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Scotland, and England; support throughout comes from special guests Chris Farren and Jesse Malin.

Brian Fallon was planning to begin his North American tour with his band the Howling Weather on Jan. 11 in Portland, Maine. But as the U.S. sets daily records with Covid cases fueled by the Omicron variant, the Gaslight Anthem frontman is canceling his first two weeks of dates. The tour will now begin Jan. 25 in Chicago.

Fallon is just the latest artist to either postpone or cancel concerts as Omicron blankets the U.S. The Strokes postponed their New Year’s Eve concert. The Flaming Lips bumped their two New Year’s shows to February. And LL Cool J dropped out of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2022 after testing positive. On Wednesday, the U.S. daily case total set a record with 488,000 new cases.

Earlier this fall, Fallon released the album Night Divine, a stripped-down collection of hymns the New Jersey native heard as a kid in church. In an interview with Rolling Stone, he talked about the challenges of touring during the pandemic and encouraging fans to wear masks.

Brian Fallon has yet again had to rescheduled his UK and European tour dates, with the shows now taking place in April and May 2022.

In the meantime, Brian has shared a new cover of R.E.M.'s E-Bow The Letter featuring Nicole Adkins for the Amazon Original series on Amazon Music. Of course, last year he also released his third solo album, the beautiful, 4/5-rated Local Honey.
