Sandbox VR is a company that runs location-based virtual reality (VR) venues: physical facilities where groups of people can step into immersive VR experiences together.
Rather than playing at home, you go to a Sandbox VR “holodeck” (or VR room) with friends. Players wear VR headsets, haptic vests, and motion sensors — including sensors on wrists/ankles — allowing full-body tracking.
The result: you not only see a shared virtual world, but you — and your friends — can physically move, gesture, and see each other’s avatars in VR, interacting in real time.
