The Bergerac is the new SoMa restaurant and bar from the ownership crew of Anderson Pugash, Bruce McDonald and David Brinkley. They’ve built a sprawling, plush and swanky clubhouse in 11th Street’s former Mist space, and designer Josh Rowland based the look on Villa Nelcotte, the famous mansion in the southern France’s Bergerac region that the Rolling Stones made famous. Perhaps just as notably, the Bergerac crew brought on two high-profile gentlemen to lead the food and drink operations.
