Envy Lounge, Newport Beach’s best new bar and lounge for socializing and seeing live entertainment, is centrally located in Orange County off MacArthur Blvd, just down the street from the John Wayne Airport behind Bosscat Kitchen and Ten Asia Bistro. Envy Lounge has quickly become a favorite social and special event destination in Orange County because of its beautiful open lounge seating, nightly entertainment, delicious craft cocktails and small plate menu, complimentary valet parking, and never, ever a cover charge. The passion project of Newport Beach entrepreneurs Sammy Lakhany and Ali Hojat, Envy Lounge is open Tuesday through Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoon. Designed to offer guests a sophisticated environment where they feel relaxed and can socialize, Envy features different local Dj’s every evening. Music is kept at a reasonable volume to encourage conversation and mingling, until later in the evening when guests feel like dancing. The modern speakeasy-style lounge is reminiscent of early Hollywood glitz and glamour in true Great Gatsby style. Gold and deep blue velvet sofas, luxurious crystal lighting, and heavy velvet drapery evoke sophisticated party elegance. Five private cabanas, each seating 15 people, line the perimeter of the lounge for intimate gatherings, and open sofa seating is featured indoor and outdoor. Every evening, local Dj’s spin twenties tunes to house, Hip Hop, top 40, jazz, and dance music. While there is not a designated dance floor, dancing is allowed and encouraged, and on most evenings Envy guests can be seen dancing all around the Lounge. The 4,000 square foot lounge can accommodate 400 guests with lounge seating or 600 guests with furniture removed. One of the hottest Orange County event venues, the venue features: a 60 foot long bar; two levels of indoor lounge seating; 5 cabanas; a 1000 square foot outdoor patio with bar and lounge seating, a DJ booth, and a 300 square foot 3D screen for video projection.
