Description

The Houston Brothers, revered architects of nightlife experiences, proudly unveil their latest masterpiece, "Say Yes," located at 1645 N Wilcox Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028. This lounge restaurant promises a captivating journey to the early 1920s Hollywood golden era, housed in a meticulously restored 1920s building adorned with an original color scheme of gold, teals, and light blues, reminiscent of the Eastern Colombian building in downtown Los Angeles. "Say Yes" introduces a unique color palette, featuring various shades of gold, marking a distinctive design approach by the Houston Brothers. The venue is a visual and atmospheric delight, setting a new standard for the duo's nightlife ventures. The cocktail program, curated by mix masters from Houston hospitality venues, shines with an array of martinis that pay homage to the classic era. The space boasts two speakeasy entrances, providing access to the main lounge and the exclusive "Nightcap" private dining experience. "Nightcap" offers a premium selection of eight mini cocktails paired with delicate bites, a reservation-only treat priced at $150 per person. Distinguished by innovation, "Say Yes" introduces a liquor locker membership, allowing guests to purchase and store their preferred bottle for future visits. This membership encapsulates a sense of ownership and a home away from home for patrons and friends. Live entertainment takes center stage, transporting guests to the past with big band performances. The stage, adorned with seashell lights and a podium-style bandstand, echoes the grandeur of the 1920s. Burlesque dancers, captivating with classic 1920s fans and feathers, and swing dancers suspended overhead, create an enchanting and unexpected atmosphere, reminiscent of the venue's iconic history, including hosting Prince.
