He began to teach himself how to DJ shortly after he moved to New Jersey and his mother suggested he looked into getting a job. 'My mom always said, you want to be happy in life, find something you love to do so much you'd do it for free, then find somebody to pay you for it'. After purchasing some beat up turntables and a cheap 2 channel mixer he started practicing everyday and fell in love with the art of being a DJ quickly. Being inspired by DJ's & Producers such as Diplo, A-Trak, DJ Tameil, etc., he set his goals high DJing all over the tri-state area.
