Torus began as a bedroom project by Alfie Glass and has evolved into a heavy, sharp three-piece featuring drummer Jack Orr and bassist Cameron Bell. United by a shared vision, the band fuses strong songwriting and catchy hooks with massive groove and atmosphere. Their latest EP ‘Take Me Home’ earned critical acclaim from the likes of Kerrang! and Distorted Sound, who praised their "zero-bullshit hard rock" and "gargantuan riffs." Frequently compared to Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, and The Smashing Pumpkins, Torus seamlessly channels classic influences into a modern, high-energy sound. "We don't follow trends, just a raw rock band with gritty guitars, catchy hooky with heavy QOTSA grooves, no backing tracks which means we are naturally tight, we make music that feels honest and isn't scared of being anything it's not and still sticks out which is rare these days" Glass explains Presented by Short Waves This is an 18+ event
