The first edition met on the anniversary of the Salem executions of 1692; the second convenes as the veil runs thin, when the accused come back and the dead are called to testify. Another examination held after dark: accusations delivered as basslines, verdicts left to whoever shows up. Techno across the night — hardgroove into experimental and hypnotic territory, stripped-back and industrial along the way, and back out. Each artist interprets the theme in their own way; the haunting surfaces differently from set to set.
