LINEUP Shay Baca Lola Jak Fantast Ready Set Go Annalia Mt. Tabor Dance Community is an Oregon nonprofit dedicated to making the mental, physical, and social benefits of dance more accessible while creating meaningful opportunities for local artists and community members to connect. Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way for people to safely gather, move, and experience community, Tabor Dance has grown from a small group of friends dancing together on Mt. Tabor into a 100% volunteer-run organization that serves thousands of people each year. At its core, Tabor Dance believes that dance should be welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to everyone, regardless of experience or background. Through community-centered dance events, Tabor Dance creates a vibrant “third place” beyond home and work where people can build relationships, express themselves, support local artists, and experience a genuine sense of belonging. Powered entirely by volunteers and shaped by the community it serves, Tabor Dance exists to bring people together through movement, creativity, and shared experience.
