Peoples House is excited to welcome back Discostan! From Beirut to Bombay and everywhere in between, Discostan digs through decades of dance music history, connecting regional classics, underground gems, and future-facing club sounds into one high-energy journey. Expect everything from disco and funk to Dabke, house, and bass-heavy favorites made for the dance floor. Joining them is Omid Walizadeh - a Los Angeles-based music producer, film composer, and DJ known for blending archival Iranian music, 1970s Persian funk, and 1980s Tehrangeles pop with contemporary hip-hop beats, and club sounds. 21+
