ROOT.WRK @ LOSO ARMANDO X w/ PEAACE, BBYTHEY Friday, November 20 DJ Sets: 9p-2a 2727 W. Broad St 21+ Armando X. is a DJ, digital archivist, and cultural curator dedicated to the preservation of global BIPOC club history. Through his docu-series, Raw Club Archives, he bridges the gap between dance music’s foundations and its future. He has captured definitive oral histories from icons including Zack Fox, Junior Sanchez, Spñiorita, Tyree Cooper, DJ Lina Bradford, Connie-Girl Fleming, DJ Slugo, Dr. Nicole Rawls among many other legends in BIPOC electronic spaces. This research finds its physical expression in ROOT.WRK, his vinyl-only residency and party series - where the research is brought to life on the dance floor. Armando X. ensures the architects of the culture remain central to its evolution through high-fidelity sound and intentional community-building. ——— LOSO Safe Space Policy ——— LOSO is a place for music lovers and dancers to come and express themselves freely.
