Formed in Istanbul in 1995, mor ve ötesi is one of the leading names in Turkish rock. Over three decades, the band has built a distinctive sound combining alternative rock with powerful songwriting and memorable live performances. Their landmark 2004 album Dünya Yalan Söylüyor introduced some of their best-known songs, including "Bir Derdim Var" and "Cambaz," while albums such as Büyük Düşler, Güneşi Beklerken and Sirenler have marked different chapters in the band's evolution. In 2008, mor ve ötesi represented Türkiye at the Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade with "Deli." Today, the band remains one of the most recognized and enduring acts in Türkiye's rock music scene.
